Excellant and deserved win. Good tactics, good play, used players very well. Well done. Onwards and upwards Roy and the team. Delighted.

Is this acceptable? I have to admit I'm quite well oiled, but still feel the need to post. Is it acceptable, considering the calibre of chaps who post on here, to post on the MF when one is inebriated? Too much use of the word 'post' in that effort.

Just had 4 mails about my password being entered wrong 5 times. I have changed it to a supersafe one for now. I assume the IP addresses used are all proxies as they are very different: 124.227.192.116 217.219.106.14 190.202.94.226 82.198.31.98 Any suggestions of what to do?

i couldn't resist... Soccer: The rebirth of the New York Cosmos - ESPN "It was a very different time than it is today," Toye said. "The present-day Cosmos will come into an environment where the World Cup has been played in this country, where American players play in Europe and the U.S. national team is indescribably better. Everybody knows what soccer is, and everywhere there are soccer fields." It's in this environment that the Cosmos are looking to be reborn. A group of investors has purchased the Cosmos' naming rights, with the hopes of rejoining soccer's American big league, which this time around is the MLS. The club's soccer clout includes Paul K…

Paul Joyce in the Express states that he's on £120,000 per week. If that's true, our policy pre NESV was an absolute disgrace. God knows what they were willing to offer Chamakh. "Free transfer" has to be the most ridiculous term ever.

I'm not sure if this annoys other people, but I think some rules in the game need to be changed. The first rule that needs to be adapted is the offside rule - it isn't working. No one understands it, given they have a second phase and not interferring with play - it is vague and is impossible to defend against. For example take Real Madrid's first goal tonight. Ronaldo is standing offside, so the AC Milan defense play a defensive line ahead of him, playing him offside. But Di Maria passes to Higuain, who is onside and he scores - as the linesman says Ronaldo isn't interferring with play. Now the Milan defenders leave Higuain, as they think it is offside with R…

I can't make the match tomorrow night but to all those going, be careful. I was in meetings with the police and the match has been designated catagory "C" which basically means trouble is predicted. There are 10 flights arriving at the airport tomorrow with a touch under 2000 fans coming in. Quite a number of these are seen as been an issue. They are seperating these flights entirely to process each fan arriving in. The polcie are ramping up also.

Has joined the club according to Dan Roan. Don't know what sort of role he'll have, though. I'd guess a more chief executive style role, but there's a good chance it's more of a DoF type job. Good news as far as I'm concerned, we desperately needed someone like him in the hierachy.

Looks like Roy is in for this trio according to The Mirror... could be three decent signings that wont cost us the earth and would definitley strengthen the squad, still need an RB. Transfer news: Liverpool have made checks on PSV pair Ibrahim Afellay and Ola Toivonen, plus Wigan's Charles N'Zogbia - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Best left back in the world imo. Fantastic pace, great technique, strong and score goals. Making world class players look average.

I thought I'd add a bet for tonights CL games, I've got a little spare time as I'm recovering from man flu. I can add individual bets on request, if I can find decent odds. Just remember you should really have a bet if you request them.

And we have one on the list, Wilson. Maybe we will see one or two from that list in our squad when NESV start their new strategy for buying players? All according to Don Balón: Adiyiah (Reggina, cedido por el Milan) Alderweireld (Ajax) Al Kamali (Al Wahda) Ananidze (Spartak de Moscú) Ayew (O. Marsella) Babacar (Fiorentina) Badstuber (Bayern M.) Bale (Tottenham) Balotelli (Manchester City) Ben Sahar (Hapoel Tel Aviv cedido por el Espanyol) Bojan (FC Barcelona) Bo-Kyung Kim (Oita Trinita, cedido por el Gamba Osaka) Boudebouz (Sochaux) Boyata (Manchester City) Breno (Bayern M.) Canales (Real Madrid) Carcela (Standard L.) Castaignos (Feyenoord) C…

I've got to do a report and give a presentation on the following question: "Assess the returns from new stadium developments by reviewing the argument that “there could be no better basis for a bid by the local authorities on Merseyside for funding, under the government’s Regional Growth Fund, for: (a) A new shared stadium for Everton and Liverpool (b) A “sports zone” incorporating reconstruction of Anfield and Goodison" I obviously need to think of the pros and cons of both points (a) and (b) but it is proving quite difficult to come up with too many (especially pros). Anyone care to give me a little help on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Im down for the Chelsea game on sunday, only my second of the season and i dont get to Anfield much so massively looking forward to it. Just wondered where everybody will be before kick off, ive been on here for nearly 6 yrs yet ive never met anybody on here and as im such great conversation i feel like im denying people the opportunity of meeting me. Im coming down on the Carlisle supporters club bus so should be in liverpool for around 12 bells. Obviously if nobody replies to this post ill feel very hurt and upset.... .....but then we could make it the match thread!

It is clear that Roy is looking to strengthen in Janaury and NESV have also hinted the same. Now we could all do lists as long as our arms saying what we need, but realistically we could probably only bring in one or two good signings, as it is not an easy time to buy - although if we can do more business than that it will be a bonus. Therefore, let's assume we get two signings in Janaury - what positions do you think we need will help the side till the summer more than anything else? As feasibly we won't be able to solve all our problems this window and somethings are going to have to wait. Personally I think we need another wide player and striker (N'zog…

I can't see there being too many changes against Chelsea if all are fit. Jovanovic or Babel might start if Cole doesn't make it, and it woudl be good to see Johnson and Kuyt on the bench. That means that we'll probably put out a young team against Napoli and even the likes of Lucas might be rested. The difference this time is that the emphasis wil be on us to go and win this game. A draw would not be awful but woul put a lot of pressure on the last couple of games. I would like to see this side, Reina Kelly Carragher Greek Aurelio Poulson Spearing Shelvey Pacheco Jovanovic …

We haven't heard or seen sight nor sound of that fat headed cunt since the day he had that "interview" on Sky Sports News. What is he up to? Is he lying in wait, waiting for the new LFC board to be formed? Does he have something lined up? Is he simply licking his wounds? Or does he knows he's about as likely to win as I am to shag Cheryl Tweedy at about 3pm this afternoon? All I know is that I can say this: -£75m? Mill Financial won't like that. *sips from LFC mug*
