...is far from over. Reverse-jinxing coming up: We expected Matip, Fabinho and Lovren to return early in the new year. Klopp now say that they will not be back before february. This means we enter a very tough period have a paper thin squad. One or two more injuries can be fatal. Give away points in 2-3 matches, which is likely with our need for rotation and the opponents coming up, and everything is wide open again. Those who say that we have won the league must be 10 years old. We might still experience the greatest collapse in history. We will be taunted with that for the rest of our lifetime. Klopp says that …

Same rules as the footy one we had recently but on Movies, TV and music. No fucking cheating and googling stuff, those suspected of it will be negged to death. LITERALLY. Ok, figuratively but still. Person who gets the answer right has the next go. I'm putting it on the MF because I don't trust the tight bastards not to cheat. Last thing, we don't want mega easy questions but at the same time try not to be posting really obscure stuff which no one can guess at. Nothing killed the footy version off like a question on middle eastern goalscorers or something like that. I'll start. There are 9 music singles that have sold more than 15 millions copies worldwide. Na…

We need a refuge on here too it seems with all the moaning minnies and gloomy gooses. I think we will do well this season, even if we don't make a Mark. E signing. I have backed up my words with a 10 quid bet with Josef Svejk (Head Gloomy Goose) that we will finish above Spurs, even if they buy whoever the hell they are supposed to be buying. This thread is for positivity. Bring in dark clouds and I will neg you till your face melts.

I thought I'd start a thread as it seems like this deal is done now. Bascombe and Barrett both reporting it. So does anyone genuinely know anything about him? Anyone seen him play a few times to form a real opinion.(I.e. no hysterical shite) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'll start the match thread as I'm a good omen on these. Could be a tough test this, but it's an early afternoon KO off Sunday which means an extra days preparation. Obviously Enrique will be out for this, so....do you keep Flano on the left? Would you stick with 4-3-3? Does Allen keep the shirt? Sturridge and Suarez could do with a week off with no distractions. Hull are a good side at the KC, so we need to be on our best behaviour for this one.

Ah well, what better way to banish the memories of Basel than a trip up the M62 to Man U. This ones not for the faint hearted. I've no fucking idea what's going to happen but we may as well get used to Sunday football.

I got the date right, and I'm sure he didn't say 'to Norwich'. I'll be watching this with a cool Estrella by the beach in Fuerteventura. This could make or break my holiday. Heart pounding just thinking about it this game. Hopefully the lads will be loud despite the shitty timing. I'd have Lucas for Hendo playing like he did v West Ham, although I wouldn't be too gutted if Allen starts. If Sturridge is fit I'd start them both ahead of Stevie in a 3. This is serious, serious shit now. Fucking come one!

The other thread titled 18/19 is irrationally annoying me. We’re into September, surely it’s time for a new one.

It is clear that Roy is looking to strengthen in Janaury and NESV have also hinted the same. Now we could all do lists as long as our arms saying what we need, but realistically we could probably only bring in one or two good signings, as it is not an easy time to buy - although if we can do more business than that it will be a bonus. Therefore, let's assume we get two signings in Janaury - what positions do you think we need will help the side till the summer more than anything else? As feasibly we won't be able to solve all our problems this window and somethings are going to have to wait. Personally I think we need another wide player and striker (N'zog…

Go make a statement, lads. When we went out to play Arsenal at home last season under Rodgers, we tried to control the game and Arsenal just hit us on the break and tore us a new one. The interesting thing is, I think this game could go the opposite way. Rodgers has built a team which is currently at it's most dangerous when it has the opportunity to counter-attack. Like Everton, Arsenal will come here and try and control the game as much as possible; hopefully allowing us to break forward at pace - like the Derby - and create plenty of chances. Coutinho's contribution will be absolute key in a similar manner to the Derby. His willingness to accept the ball in tig…

Not had a chance to watch the Stoke game yet as I was working, but I'm a superstitious sod and have started the last two match threads so am starting this one to hopefully keep the winning run going. That said, I'm going to totally contradict myself and say that although I've listened to the past two games on the radio, I'm going to the Villa game. If we don't win I think I'll sell my season ticket and just listen to every game - well until that winning run ends, anyway.

Looking forward to this match, given we have a week to prepare and be fully rested for them. I expect Ferguson to do some mind games in the press. Probably putting the pressure on the ref about Suarez with the handball incident on the weekend. I'd start Sturridge. Vidic hates pace and Sturridge will give us that threat on the counter attack, which will be needed at Old Trafford. I expect Suarez and Sterling to be the wide forwards of Sturridge. I think the hardest decision for Rodgers is to decide who will be the two to partner Gerrard in midfield. You could have a good argument for Lucas, Henderson or Allen. I think I'd go for Lucas and Henderson a…

Massive game, bloody massive, I think Allen might play this one, not sure who'll miss out. We have to win, no point hammering the team at the top if we can't beat team at the bottom. We might need to be patient here, Suarez is unlikely to go 3 games without scoring so hopefully he'll be on form.

is becoming an issue. He has served us well, but what the fuck is going on this season? I'd love a RB who can stop a cross now and again. Plus, he's earning shit loads, isn't he? Looks like he might well be one for the block.

Thought it be a good idea to start a thread for putting bets up on any sport. Theres one in the GF but thought one on here for paying members of the site is a better idea. The Scottish National is upon us and if it helps anybody here are the top four stats horses or trend horses in the race. These four in other words should be the first four home if the race goes to form and trend. Look around for best prices. Always Right 12/1 Rival D’Estruval 7/1 Knockara Beau 33/1 Rigadin De Beauchene 20/1 Just to confuse things a bit more only one of the above would be in my choices. These are the four I think the winner will come from. 25/1 Lively Baron 16/1 B…

Someone else did the Stoke one and we lost. Therefore I'm coming back to doing these to bring back some much needed good luck. Should we start Carroll? Who'll be right back? Does Maxi deserve a run? Will the Captain be back? All this and more.....below...

Well, until we see the 64-team CL instead of the 32-version, 4th is still the Holy Grail as it stands...like it or not. After 14 games, and results-wise a chatastrophic start to the season, we are: 7 pts behind Spurs 6 pts behind Everton 5 pts behind Arsenal If (big if) the manager gets through to the players and we get one more decent attacking option in January (bearing in mind the continued development of our youngsters, Borini included), I actually think we can pull it off. Today showed us that Spurs are even more of a one man team than us, Everton have been less impressive the last few weeks, and Arsenal aren't exactly the bastion of invincibility eith…

Anyone else getting a sneaky feeling we might just pull this out of the bag? Even with the absence of Sturridge, Gerrard and Henderson? I do keep reminding myself though that the pace and power of Paulinho and Dembele in midfield should, and I stress should, be something we'd struggle against but they didn't win against the Mancs and we are all aware of their midfield shortcomings this season. With only two fit, notable centre midfielders available, I full expect Rodgers to go back into 3-5-2 mode for the Christmas away matches. Mignolet Toure, Skrtel, Sakho Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Flanagan, Coutinho Sterling, Suarez 1-2 Suarez double
