by Dave Usher for ESPN It's probably fair to say that this defeat has been coming. Picking up results when not playing well is something that every successful team needs to have in its locker, but at some point you've got to start performing or those good results will inevitably dry up. While results have been exemplary, Liverpool have not produced a good 90 minute performance all season. The closest to it was an impressive 75 minutes against Stoke on the opening day, but the football has gotten progressively worse week by week since then, culminating in that poor second half at the Liberty Stadium on Monday followed by this horror show against Southampton. All of …

Just for fun this one, you can select only one bet and bet as much as you want. I won't be adding any other bets. To clarify the woodwork bet, a shot that hits the post and then rattles off the bar (and we've done that) or hits one post and then the other (sure we've done that too) counts as one hit. Basically it would have to hit another player between hitting the woodwork in order to count as more than once. The other condition is that the shot if it hits the woodwork doesn't go in, nobody recalls great woodwork hits that subsequently went in.

Appointed this week as manager for Blackburn Rovers. After the loss this weekend they have a point average of 0 – zero – with Berg as manager. After the match Berg gave the usual excuses about patience, having to work hard and needing time etc, etc. A lot of arrogant super-fans seem to support this bullshit. What a cunt. He is clearly out of his depth. Last season they played great football under his predecessor, Steve Keane. If it hadn`t been for a series of unfortunate circumstances which made the Rovers lose 22 matches they would have been a solid premiership-team at this point.

Posted this on the FF, so thought I'd put it here too. Great news for the families and now hopefully justice can be served. Hillsborough breakthrough: panel to consider evidence after 3.15pm - Liverpool Local News - News - Liverpool Echo THE independent panel trawling through previously-hidden Hillsborough documents will examine what happened after 3.15pm on the day of the disaster for the first time. Many bereaved families and survivors believe their loved ones were still alive after the cut-off time imposed by Sheffield coroner Dr Stefan Popper in the initial 1991 inquest – and could have been saved, had they been given proper medical assistance. A doct…

Little bit different You draft three countries, countries can be selected multiple times You can have a maximum of one country with more than one world cup wins, one country with one world cup win and one who have never won a world cup. Also no more than 2 nations from any confederation Once you have drafted your nations then the proper draft begins Players can only be selected once,so no matter how many of you take Brazil as the nation Kleberson can only be selected once Any interest

I realised how young our team was yesterday, and it includes players you think are older. The average age for the starting 11 was 24. When you look at the performances of players who are a few years off reaching their peak, it really was fantastic. Mignolet 25 Johnson 29 Skrtel 29 Sakho 23 Flanno 20 Lucas 26 Allen 23 Hendo 23 Coutinho 21 Sterling 19 Suarez 26 Add o that Sturridge who is 24, ane we have a whole bunch of really good youngish players. I like.

It's full of name-dropping and a bit gushing in places, but to me he just comes across as someone who absolutely loves what he does and can't quite believe he's lucky enough to be doing it.
