I'm working for the semi-final so my ticket is going spare. Only problem is I'm working for tomorrow's game as well so I'll have to post it out. Even with the Bank Holiday on Monday it should arrive in time though. Face value (£40) naturally. PM me if you're interested.

His story begins back at the start of the season when he really still had quite a bit to prove as, let’s face it, last season was basically a write off for poor Kostas. He barely played and could never really show the fans what he could do, not least because we weren’t allowed in the stadiums to watch. He had COVID and from what I recall an injury or two as well. Then we lost all of our centre backs so Klopp made the decision to run Trent and Robbo into the ground because he didn’t want to make any more defensive changes. The net result was none of us really knew if Kostas was any good or not. So pre-season comes around and Robbo isn’t there after captaining S…

Is it just me who thinks hes extremely underrated. Hes better than Skrtel thats a fact how much would he cost? Why is he never linked with a move away any team would be happy to have him as an option.

One spare for Bolton availible in the Kop or Centenary, not 100% clarified yet as I might change my two Kop tickets to help a mate out. PM me or put your interest here. Not sure when I'll be back to you but in a couple of hours as I'm out having a few pints in town.

What chance would there be, and wouldn't it be a massive PR plus, if the club refunded anyone who bought their kid aTorres shirt in the last 2 weeks, receipt included of course. My kids are 32 and 25 in case you're thinking it's for my benefit.

I feel sorry for Joe. He’s hardly been able to get any playing time in his favoured position in the centre alongside Virgil. Remember how good he was in the title winning season when he had an extended run there? He looked like he was on the brink of becoming world class. Since then injuries have completely stunted his growth as a player. He was fit for most of the season but he couldn’t get back in because Joel suddenly turned into freaking Iron Man and never missed a game. In previous seasons there would always be opportunities for games alongside Virgil because none of the others could ever stay for any length of time. Now none of them ever get injured. …

I know a few of you play NFL fantasy football. Well my idea is to run a league similar to how a dynasty nfl game is played. A few basic rules that im thinking. We select the squads soon and then have a mini draft on Sep 1st when the window reopens to select players bought in summer and any left over from the summer. It will work like the drafts we have done with scoring from the premier league fantasy website. You will all have to send me your line ups by 11am on the Saturday. No subs will be added so if the player doesnt play tough. We would select like we draft 18 players each over the summer with 7 more on Sep 1st. Everyone has a squad of 25 player…

Apparently all those interviews with La Liga players have been fabricated. Owen Blackhurst Thursday, 23 September 2010 Not surprised as it is Daily Star, but I wonder why this hasn't been exposed before. Probably because no one would admit to reading that tripe. One of his last tweets kind of gives it away as well: Edit: Marcotti says that Twitter page of his is a fake.

Just finished watching Waltz with Bashir about the 1982 Lebanon War, specifically the Sabra and Shatila Massacres. An excellent film. However watching the credits I noticed Steven Gerrard gets a Thanks in the credits. Can anyone shine a light on why ?

It seems that if they dont become pundits or managers they really have very few options. One door that is firmly closed is the acting route for Luis Figo: Any other examples of x-footballers embarrassing themselves in trying to create careers after football?

By Telegraph SportLast Updated: 6:41PM GMT 27/11/2012 Uefa president Michel Platini has admitted that his organistion are considering scrapping the Europa League in favour of extending the Champions League. Asked about possible plans to extend the elite Champions League at the expense of the second-tier Europa League on Wednesday by the Ouest-France., Platini said: "There is an ongoing debate to determine what form the European competitions will have between 2015 and 2018. "We're discussing it, we will make a decision in 2014. Nothing is decided yet." One of the options being looked at is the possibility of extending the final phase of the Champions League from 32 to…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30923145 Interesting to note i) the player who turned down a 50% pay rise because his girlfriend didn't want to move and ii) exactly how agents think in trying to get the absolute most from the clubs. Even including trying to get a goal bonus for a goalkeeper! The article highlihgts exactly how screwed clubs are when coming to try to sign players on deadline day.

No, this ain't a thread to further the media wankathon over his form but the role he is currently playing is the one I expect Gerrard to be playing in a few years when his legs start to go. Dunno what others think of this though? He certainly has enough to his game to do it equally as good as this prick has done over the past few weeks.

Jan 1: The window opens and nobody has bought anyone. What the hell have clubs been doing for five months? They’ll all leave it until the last minute, as usual. It does my head in. I can never get my head around why deals aren’t all agreed in December all ready to go for when it opens. There are some players who everyone knows will be moving (like Sakho), but it will still end up in a big scramble on deadline day even for them. Get your act together, knobheads. Meanwhile, regular readers will know I like Mignolet quite a lot. I'm not under any illusions that he's the second coming off Dino Zoff, but he seems like a really decent fella. This quote I saw from him today…
