This game feels a bit mad with everything that's going on. We'd normally rest loads. And we have loads out with covid. I assume klopp will want to rest plenty of lads for Leeds. And vvd, thiago, Jones and fab are unavailable still because of covid and of course robbo is banned (is that 3 games?). I was looking forward to this. I miss a lot of midweek games because of work, I got Newcastle last week and was looking forward to this tonight, before getting the covid ban myself. I've genuinely no real idea with the team. I'd take a bit of a guess at kelleher, neco, kostas, Gomez, quansah, Henderson, Morton, minamino, firmino, Chamberlain, Gordon. I wouldn't be th…

So will this go ahead? I can't see the PL having a break. And I don't think we will look to get the game called off unless we have so much covid we're forced to shut the training ground. I assume spurs are back training? So they've had a good rest and depending how long they've been back in training, Conte will have had some time to work with the tactically. I think spurs are pretty poor, but if they're fresh and we almost certainly won't be, then it might make it tough. I am interested to see konate take on Kane. I've been concerned how attracted to the ball konate is and Kane will try to move him around, so it'll be interesting to see how he's improving his…

Another home game in a few days. It's got to be said my dislike for this lot has gone up a notch or two after this whole Saudi take over and their whole "anyone is better than Ashley" idea. Every week I'm looking out for their result and hoping for a beating (like this afternoon). The games are think and fast and even though we are going to be Thursday/Sunday/Wednesday here, at least the 3rd game is the league cup, so we should be able to rest a few then. I thought over the last couple of games you could see some little signs of tiredness creeping in. I always think the 1st thing you notice when we're tired is the 1st touch and decision making goes off, which…

I know it’s early, but I’m in England fleetingly and trying to get my ducks in a row for when I’m over. So if there’s one going I’ll happily take it off your hands.

Sky must be gutted they didn't pick this one. In fact I was shocked they still didn't try to get it. I am not sure what I think about this though. I hate distractions - although klopp is normally good at keeping us focused. i think we will be back to last weeks team fitness permitting and we don't play until thursday. So Alisson, Trent, Robbo, Matip, VVD, Fab, Henderson, Thiago, Salah, Jota, Mane. I don't think these are a good team. In fact I think they are pretty shit. If we are up for it, expect a good win. 4-0 -Salah 2, Jota, VVD.

Another quick turnaround. I'd like us to get 18 points, but not at the expense of giving fellas a rest. After klopp picking an unchanged team this week, I'm expecting a league cup level set of changes. When this happens, it's hard to predict a result, especially as the game will mean more to them. Despite the result being close, they were fucking awful at our place I thought. But with us changing players, I'm sure this will be tougher. So for the team - kelleher, neco, kostas, konate, Gomez/Phillips (Gomez if he's fit then Phillips for half an hour), Morton, milner, Chamberlain, minamino, origi, half each for two of Saturdays front 3. I think a f…

Well I'm only just sobering up from weds. Theres not much chance of recovery between games this time of year. I've not seen much of wolves so far this season, so I don't really know what to expect tomorrow. I think klopp will want to change some players around, although clearly the game tomorrow is more important than Milan, he does also hate the weds-sat turn around. I suspect konate will get the next couple of games and milner and Chamberlain will get 1 start each across the 2 games. I reckon the forward line will remain the same with mini and origi getting their games on Tuesday. Neco and kostas will get Tuesday too I reckon. Alisson, Trent, r…

So this is simple. Smash these cunts and try and get out injury free after the game is won. We absolutely cannot go into this game being physically afraid of them and I was a little worried klopp's words yesterday maybe gives one or two an excuse before a ball is kicked. I really want to be able to wish Rafa well at Everton, but I just can't. I want Everton to fail and if that means Rafa fails, well that's good for me - he shouldn't have taken the job. Hopefully Brentford will turn them over today (I expect Everton to win though) and maybe that'll create an atmosphere where their fans are likely to be more poisonous to them and Rafa than they are to us - cert…

Been wanting one for this for a few years then covid hit. Appreciate the chances are very slim but just in-case. I only live 10 minutes away however I'll get the train down to Turdseyes so I can get a lift save me walking up Queens drive.

I'm after 2-3 extra for Leicester at home on February 9. I turn 40 on that day (fuckssake), so hoping to have a bit of a shindig in Liverpool (the Premier League Darts is the next day and have tix for that). I'd happily trade my United ticket on March 22 (on my Season Ticket) for one of them, as I can't make that.

Here we go again. This period of the season is absolutely relentless and it's when I think we start to see the difference in the quality of the squads. There's some midweek league games and while the teams in Europe (or certainly the CL) are used to it and should have the squads, I think the poorer squads (and coaches) suffer from not having 7 days to prepare. Obviously Southampton have had all week to prepare, but there's every chance they will have one eye on midweek as they may see 3 points at home to Leicester a bit more gettable if they're full strength. Even little things like getting in front and them subbing off their better players to save for midweek can help. …

So I fucked this one right up. I thought we were away this week and I thought it was tonight! So I'm away as normal with work and will miss it and for the 2nd CL game running I'm out for dinner with a client, so will likely not be able to watch - unless I can convince him chicken wings in the sports bar is better than a top steak. So I've no idea what we'll do team wise with this one..I guess we still need to secure top spot and history tells us klopp won't play a bunch of kids. Despite this though, I'm sure there'll be some changes. I've not seen who's available either - is anyone close to fitness? So here's my guess of a team.... Kelleher, Trent, Kostas, vv…

It's a bit of a relief this international nonsense is over and it looks like our Brazilian lads can get home more than 10 minutes before kick off. I'm looking forward to this game. We need a big bounce back after the last 2 matches and what better than to put arsenal back in their box. The bits I've seen of arsenal so far, I've not been impressed with, they just look at one of those midtable teams who are having their little run right now winning matches that could have easily gone the other way. They're exactly what we need right now. I don't think arteta will be afraid to be defensive, but I don't think they're good enough defensively to handle our boys. …

Anyone attending a shit game today? No Prem on today, but the season is in full swing. Hassocks Vs Littlehampton at the Beacon for me. Standard of the Sussex County premier is not that bad. Nice little ground on the edge of South Downs National Park, lovely view of the downland ridge across from Wolstonbury Hill to Ditchling Beacon and overlooked by the Jack & Jill windmills. £5 in and a quid of the raffle. Beer choice is shite, Carlsberg or John Smith's smooth for £3 a pint. They do a great burger though.

My favourite current player and he’s well on the way to becoming my all time favourite (overtaking my childhood hero Paul Walsh). I absolutely love this lad. I love everything about him. He’s the heart and soul of this team and represents everything good that we see on and off the pitch. You can count his bad games on one hand as he’s relentlessly consistent and the ground he covers up and down that left flank is almost like having an extra man on the pitch. One minute he's in his own box defending, the next he's at the byline whipping in crosses. If there's one moment this season that personifies Robbo it's the fifth goal against Chelsea. It came…

So our last game of a busy schedule before we send the players off all around the world to do stupid international football again. It feels like the squad is really being stretched, I've not seen klopp's press conference today, but it would feel like Gomez, keita, Jones & firmino are all missing (and Elliot of course). I'm a little bit worried about this one. Not because I think west ham are great, but they are organised and dangerous on the break - and we've been really sloppy. I'm also worried we'll go with konate again and he seems to have a bit of a tendency to follow the ball a bit and Moyes teams are normally good at capitalising on those types of m…

So back to the CL and this slippery bunch of cunts. We need to improve defensively to how we played in the 1st leg and on Saturday. A draw would see us through I guess (I haven't done any maths), but I'm not sure playing for a draw is a way to beat these. As for the team - the midfield is not looking great. Klopp was hinting he didn't want to play him before the international break because he doesn't want him to go with Spain, but I think his hand will be forced. I expect matip to be back too. Alisson, Trent, robbo, matip, vvd, Henderson, Thiago, chamberlain, jota, Mane, Salah. As for result? I really don't have a feel for it. I don't feel positi…

So am I getting mixed up or is this our 3rd 3pm on a Saturday of the season? I have mixed feelings about Brighton. When I'm in London, most people from Brighton I meet are fucking pricks. And their chairman was an absolute bellend with his null and void nonsense to try and save them from relegation. However, I've got a couple of mates who support BHA and one in particular is one of a small group who helped work to keep the club alive for many years. And he fucking hates the Tories too. Brighton have done alright this season, although it looks like that early flourish of goals is now starting to fade away. But I'm sure we'll give them glimpses of …

So here we go. I fucking hate these cunts. I really want us to absolutely fuck them, but there's the trade off that would get OGS fired. So maybe we have to settle for a tight gsme and us winning it with a controversial VAR winner, with Anthony Taylor in tears being forced by var to give us a pen. It's the league cup midweek, so I think we go full strength, whatever that is. I'd bring Jones in for keita. He scored a belter, but was fucking desperate defensively last night. Alisson, trent, robbo, vvd, matip, fab, Henderson, Jones, Salah, firmino, mane. I think OGS will go really defensive and will not want to get fucked as he knows that'll be the…

I wish the league cup could be somehow played over midweeks in 1 month, sonitnfeot like there was some momentum to it. It feels like an age since the last round. Can our man Sepp play against us? So I've absolutely no idea what type of team we will put out here. We're running low aren't we? I think the 3 mids that finished the game yesterday are perhaps the last 3 1st teamers we have fit, so it would seem unlikely for klopp to play any of them, although he will maybe want some rythym and minutes in Chamberlain. Some of the other positions are easier to fix I guess. So I reckon, kelleher, Williams, konate, Gomez, Kostas, morton, dixon-bonner, chamberlain, Mane…
