I don’t know if there’s a thread or discussion about tickets for Newcastle away yet but if there’s a chance of a ticket for this game, or even 2, so I could go with my boy, I’m your man/woman. Thanks all

Fuck off 12.30s. I think we'll see a few changes for this one. I thought klopp might use the bench a bit more last night. It's one we absolutely have to win in anyway possible. They'll want to give us a bloody nose and this is one I wish was at home. Ali, Trent, robbo, matip, vvd, fab, Henderson, keita, Jota, Diaz, Salah. I'm hoping for another 2-0, but I think it may be tighter than that.

I'm bothered about this one. We've had a lot of tough or high profile games and this feels like it should be one we brush past. But Emery has been a good coach in Europe over the years and they defended and countered pretty well by all accounts in the last round, so we need to be careful. I think there'll be a few changes, but nothing drastic. Alisson, Trent, Kostas, vvd, konate, Henderson, thiago, keita, Diaz, mane, Salah. As for the result. I really don't know. 2-1. Diaz and Salah.

Here we fucking go again. How often do you get weeks like this, your closest rivals on the pitch followed by your two biggest off it, with a European cup semi just around the corner. It's just brilliant. Now to the serious business of 3 points - the rivalry means nothing compared to how important winning is. I think it will be way harder than Tuesday, even if we win well, we'll need to fight well first. They won't roll over and have their tummies tickled like Salford did. So onto the team. Klopp is surely going to need to rotate a bit through these next 4 games and he does have a bit of a record of mad selections against these at Anfield. I'm not certain it'l…

I'm nervous about this one. Not because I think they have any tricks up their sleeve (although I've no idea what ragnicks record against klopp is), but I think klopp truly hates these short turnorounds and might be tempted into making one too many changes. We can't afford a performance like the benfica one last week. So I'm hoping not that many changes. My guess is we'll go with Ali, Trent, robbo, matip, vvd, fab, thiago, Henderson, Salah, mane, Jota. That team will be way too much for them. 4-0, Salah 3, Jota.

I'm looking forward to this. We'll certainly need to be better than last week, but I think tactically klopp is quick learner and he's very quick to make minor tweaks for big gains. With so many players rested I think the team picks itself if you look at who started last night and last weekend. So I expect alisson, Trent, robbo, konate, vvd, fab, keita, thiago, Salah, mane, Diaz. It'll be interesting to see who they go with. They've pretty much played the same team last night as the weekend. Walker will be a big loss if he doesn't make it. I don't think he's a great defender, but he's their number 1 defender against our pace in attack that guardio…

Long shot I know, but with the trains to and from Liverpool fucked on that day, I would gladly go to Wembley, step in to replace an actual ticket holder and make some fucking noise. Please & thank you

It's a funny one this. Quarters of the European cup and feels a bit of a distraction sandwiched between the 2 city games. I'm sure klopp and the players aren't thinking like that though. I think we will see some fresh legs come in or maybe some changes at 45 & 60 as we've 5 subs. Alisson, Trent, Kostas, konate, vvd, milner, keita, Jones, Diaz, firmino, Salah. They looked pretty awful in the last game. I would hope it will be comfortable, but if we get in front, I'm sure we will be protecting legs ahead of Sunday and next Tuesday. 2-0 Salah, keita.

I've heard a rumour these are actually alright. I don't watch Portuguese football, so I don't have much of an idea on that. We've looked like we're playing a different sport to Porto the last few times we've met, so I'm not getting too concerned. However, we'll no doubt need to be on our game and it's hard to forget how relaxed everyone was in 2006 when we got these. I'm assuming there are no new injury problems. So even with city ahead, I think we need to go strong here, but I've a feeling we might see Elliot play. Alisson, Trent, robbo, matip, vvd, fab, Elliot, thiago, Diaz, mane, salah. So I would love us to get a Porto style result here and g…

Hopefully my first game back after my thiago style lay off. I still have to pass a late fitness test though. And a fucking 12.30, who wants that? And especially after the international break. Watford are fucking shite, but you can be sure the owl will have them playing dead hoping for a 0-0. I've no idea how the team will look, as I've not really followed the internationals outside of knowing the Egypt v Senegal result. I don't think Trent will play even if he's fit, we'll hold him back for the games ahead. Alisson, milner, matip, vvd, robbo, Henderson, thiago, keita, Salah, mane, firmino. So for the result. If we get an early goal, we'll smash t…

Sounds like we've wrapped up a new number nine, lads. And finally a new club-record for paid transfer fee. 29 goals in 65 Serie A games over the last two seasons is not to be sniffed at. Perfect compliment to Mane on the other wing. Left-footed too.

We hate Nottingham Forest We hate Everton too We hate Man United But Liverpool we love you. Despite the shitness, I still fucking hate forest. And the other cunts despite them all being varying degrees of shit. We have to smash these cunts. Apparently they're all getting mad on social media looking for kick offs. Fucking no mark, bellend, cunts. I don't know how klopp will pick for this. I suspect he will have an eye on which players are going to do lots of work for their national teams. So I don't expect the south Americans to play, except Bobby maybe as he's not played much and Ali as it's different for a goalie. So as a bit of a…

So this is the big game in hand. On paper it should be a tough one, but I think arsenal are fucking awful, especially in any intense type of situations, they're just bottlers. The problem maybe a little is I think a draw is probably a good result for them when you look at how many games in hand they have and the 1 point and good goal difference advantage they have too. So they might just try and kill the game and sit deep and counter, a lot like they did in a couple of those covid games. We get a 4 day breather with a cup game coming up, so unless there's injury issues, I don't see a reason to change much. They have one day less preparation, but as we've show…

So 2 big away games on the bounce in the league, followed by a cup away. So even though we have 4 day turnarounds, it's still a tough week with the travelling. I'm sure I've said this loads of times on here, but I will never get to enjoy these 12.30 KOs if I'm there or not. I feel for the poor cunts travelling down for this one, although I think if I still did aways, I'd probably go and have a Friday night out there. We're going to need to be sharper than we were on Tuesday. The 2 fresh faces in midfield certainly both looked rusty. I'm sure klopp will bring Henderson back in. Maybe even keita. I'd also get Diaz back in for Jota, who hasn't looked quite right…

Fuck it why not. Thinking maybe March time? Weekend of the 5th we've got West Ham at home so we would be able to watch that over there. Most TSOP don't go home games anyway and it's not that late in the season that it will/should be a really really important one. No doubt this will fall down like a lead-balloon but anyone who fancies it TSOP regular or not it would be a fucking good laugh. If that date isn't ideal suggest others. If we get enough I'll organise it. In: Stig Stringvest (you'll need to re-confirm, you just said you're always up for Belgian biscuit.....)

So another 3 day turnaround. Klopp will be doing his nut. But it sounds like some players are back with Bobby, thiago and matip all training and we get 5 subs in this competition, so I expect us to use them. 2-0 is a fucker of a lead (although better than 1-0 or no lead I suppose), but I think we need to come out with a view to win this match and the rest will look after itself. Not many sides can beat us by 3 goals, so play for the win and we should be through and there's no away goals to trip us up. So I don't think klopp will go mad with changes. In fact I reckon just Matip will come back in and we'll use the bench to rotate and freshen up if we can. Aliss…

And another quick turnaround and we've another to inter on Tuesday, so I'm sure some of that will go into klopp's thinking, but I still expect both sides to be pretty strong. WHU seemed to play most of their main players last night in the cup, so Saturday should be tougher on them as they work with a very small squad. For our team, I expect a lot of changes. Alisson, Trent, robbo, vvd, matip, fab, Henderson, keita, Salah, mane, Diaz. And as for the result ..... I know it shouldn't be, but I've got a feeling it's going to be a comfortable win. 4-1. Salah 2, Diaz, keita.

This is a new thread that I thought would move away from the magnet idea. I'd thought I'd give my own match report each week with the added bonus of seeing the results on my tits. Please be aware, I am a woman, so my match feedback may not be as accurate as match of the day and I won't be able to analyse specific match and players in the usual way in the guise of Motson, Tyler or Usher. I will give my own version of events. I hope my analysis will be suitable to your need…

Here we go. Our first crack at a trophy this season. I'm still not in shape to get to this, so again I've needed to let my ticket go, I'm fucking gutted. But maybe it's a good thing. Covid for the PL and my health stopped me getting Madrid, and we lifted the trophies. I did see the league cup final loss, uefa cup loss, Kyiv final loss and there was a charity shield loss thrown in there somewhere. So perhaps I've become some type of jinx. As we've seen in the 2 league matches this season, these sides are very evenly matched. I know we are in better form at the moment, but I'm not sure form trump's the occasion of a final. We obviously won't go wit…
