He's just bought a season ticket and will be able to see all the nasty things we've all been saying. I'll delete all the threads and posts where we've all slated him, but just giving you all the heads up.

Seen the back of the Mirror today about Redknapp possibly wanting to offload Crouchie. If there is any truth in this then it smacks of 'Arry trying to run before he can walk with Spurs possibly being in the CL next season. Crouch has CL experience, English and would improve most sides which would make it all the more surprising should Spurs sell him. It mire than likely is bollocks as Alan Nixon was behind it but you just never know. I for one would be delighted if there could be any way we could get the Big Fella back at a decent price. Ironic actually as it was only a couple of nights ago I dug a Fanzine out from a couple of years ago and read my tribute article to …

I've noticed this cropping up in connection with Huang's bid, the idea being that he's anxious to conclude a deal so he can throw money at transfers before the rules kick in. Here's the full text if you're interested,http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/uefaorg/Clublicensing/01/50/09/12/1500912_DOWNLOAD.pdf but it's 91 pages and I'm too lazy to pick through the whole thing. I found a summary on Financial Fair Play Regulations are approved on UEFA.COM "• Break-even requirement – clubs must not spend more than they generate over a period of time • No overdues payable during the season – towards other clubs, employees and/or social/tax authorities • Pr…

What age can mascots be? And no, I am not interested in holding Steve Gerrard's hand and walking out at Anfield.

Signing a striker should be the priority, but I can't help but feel that we still lack quality on the left flank. Roy Hodgson was at the Wigan v Chelsea game today presumably watching Maynor Figueroa who I thought was poor, but Charles N'Zogbia is apparently angling for a move away from Wigan. If Mascherano does move on before the window closes then I think N'Zogbia would be a decent addition, and would add genuine width and pace to the left flank. Babel flatters to deceive and I am not convinced that Jovanovic is any better than a squad player.

Before you go onto the FF, put this guy on ignore or turn off javascript in your browser. He is injecting javascript code into the threads there and this will take you to an external site if you do visit those threads. Hopefully Dave will ban him soon.

Is the new twitter feed thing on the left column of the page working for all of you? Just installed it now, looks fine for me but hows it looking in other browsers? Also, if you can see it, I'm quite proud of the reply I sent to Henry Winter today when he tweeted about Lampard and Terry signing autographs for fans. He didn't reply, but I'd like to think it made him chuckle. If it didn't, fuck him the serious twat!

Hello chums! Just thought I'd reassure you all that however loopy the FF gets on here, we really have *nothing* that compares to the mass hysteria/ insanity that is currently prevalent on RAWK. The Benitez/ Lucas worship there is now manifesting itself in such obscene, mentally-ill threads I am almost lost for words. On Carragher: "How the fuck can you fucking people not see that he is a damaging, debilitating, malign fucking influence on the club?! Christ-al-fucking-might, what the fuck is wrong with you? Do you appreciate his role in kicking Benitez out? Or maybe that's why you like him? Good old In-gur-lish manager now, to complement the Roy of The Rovers, bac…

The best starting position of all of these three looks to me to be as a central attacker in "the hole". Gerrard and Torres were absolutely flying as a partnership two seasons ago, so if all else was equal many people would pencil Gerrard in that position again. I don't believe Aquilani has a defensive bone in his body which means for me that he should not have any responsibilities to sit deep when we do not have the ball. Cole apparently wants to play through the centre as well, and if he's come here with that expectation then we may be trying to fit three pegs into one hole. How do people see this particular jigsaw fitting together?

Had a bit of a argument with Mrs FG (to be) about house-work the other day. Mrs FG was having a moan about me not helping her out and I was having a pop saying I am at work all day etc. The usual shit. So after a half an hour or so of me defending my self explaining all that I do for her and around the house and her telling me all that I don't do. (i.e her normal jobs- and before all the women on here start saying I am being a pig. I work a basic 45 hour week, averaging 60+ and pay for all the rent and bills etc and do so because I love my family and we both agree her being at home bringing up our daughter is more beneficial than the extra money) So any way you k…

Advice Needed 1 2

Advice Needed. I’ve put this on the MF due to reasons that will become clear at the end of the entry, as you just don’t know who connected to our club, or anyone else will be reading this. Also, hence why I’ll be as vague about the industry I am involved in, as possible for the same reasons. Back in February of this year my role at a company I was at for over four years was made redundant. I was offered a role at a company in the area, vaguely similar to my previous employment. I was been there ever since and although I work with a great, large group of people, of whom I very much enjoy working with and soclizing with during out of office hours I have recently…

Betting Thread: Liverpool v Trainspotters 1 2
by Guest davelfc- 36 replies

Liverpool take on Trabzonspor (which roughly translated means Trainspotters) PLEASE READ The 'cash booster' bet is only for members who have less than 100 credits before they make a bet. It's intended to give them a small boost as the title suggests. So if you have wads of cash (over 100) do not use this bet or I cannot pay out on the booster. Also, no private bets on this either. Cash Booster will only pay out if Liverpool score a goal in this game against Trabzonspor. Bets to follow.

Some great pictures on the offical website today: Early days I know, but I just think the players seem to be really happy around the club at the moment. I can't remember seeing Gerrard smiling as much as he has done the last few weeks and as a result he is playing well for club and country. But not just him, all the players look happy and I don't think it is just because a new manager has come and a change has occured. You can see Hodgson talking to the players, laughing with them, putting an arm round them and making them feel human. I remember reading Balagues book about Rafa and he said Benitez treated players as employees. This was …

I know it didn't die as I'd have gotten error messages to my phone, but how was the speed of it during the game? I've banned guests for the last two games, as I wasn't here to keep an eye on it, but I'll watch the City game at home on Monday night and will let guests on to see if the server copes. How was it tonight though?

How about this then? Instead of a match thread involving lots of 'yyyyeeeeeeessssssss' and 'gggggoooooooalll', whilst not forgetting the old 'fuck off ref', we'll have after match threads on here where we can talk over the game after the event. I'm starting it now because I needed to float the idea first and I'm at the game tomorrow and won't be back until late. Do one for every game and we're onto a winner. Thoughts?

City are asking for a serious thumping here. They've been out of their own half twice in the first 19 minutes, literally.

I have always loved the art of tagging on the TLW. It is a talent that seems to be thrust amongst the very few on here. It has caused consternation and many an arguement in the past but it can be a thing of beauty if used correctly and succinctly. A simple Queresma analogy or a Smash 'er Lad has caused me no end of mirth. So here's to the return of inconspicuous tagging. Where one can vent his spleen with no reprisal from the soft cunt who originally posted the offending shite.

Holloway keep saying Blackpool need to sign more players to strengthen their squad. Why don't we let them have some of our best youngsters like Pacheco and Spearing for the season or until January? Then they can get regular Premiership action instead of wasting time playing for the reserves and maybe get a few games in the League Cup or five to ten minutes every now and then. If he gets excited by Cathcart, imagine the joy of having one of the best 19-year olds in Europe at his disposals?

Apparently available on loan, so what's the score with him then, he hasn't settled at Eastlands and I know a fair few blues who never rated him even when he was banging in 12 a season for them. A viable option ???
