Trying to switch my PC on today was a bit of a chore, it was shut down normally last night and when I tried to switch it back on today the power wouldn't come on, my speakers made some sort of pop noise every time I pressed on and the computer just wouldn't kick into gear. I ended up taking the covers off and doing a de dusting type thing, eventually while doing this it switched on after pressing the button repeatedly for a while. Is it just because it needed cleaning or are there other major things that it could be that means I need to replace the power supply or something else equally nerdy?

Tonight on More4, sounds like a scene from The Kite Runner - not a nice scene I hasten to add. Think I've mentioned on here before that a mate of mine was in Helmand a couple of years ago and he witnessed this first hand. Young lads brought into the compounds some evenings and nothing could be done to stop them as the British were told to protect 'friendly' warlords. Anyway, at least we know its not just the Catholics.

I reserved it last week for my brother who now says he doesn't want it. I bought one myself for the main bedroom and it looks pretty good. It's this one here; Shows up on website as £269.99 but was reserved at £199.99. The TV is reserved at Argos Speke and the code expires at the end of today so if you want it, send me a pm. Not sure if Argos will hold the price at £199.99 noting it's gone back up again but if you're local can't hurt to find out. Link to all the spec etc is Argos - www.argos.co.uk

Myanmar is a hotbed of Chinese criminal gangs trafficking people to use as scam callers. Unusually, it seems like some Myanmar rebel groups have had enough. https://therecord.media/rebel-offensive-myanmar-cyber-scam-crackdown Rebel offensive in Myanmar takes aim at online scam industry A rebel group in northern Myanmar is preparing to lay siege to the city of Laukkaing — a hub of the country’s flourishing cyber-scamming industry that has drawn criticism from Beijing. A crackdown on scam compounds in Myanmar has resulted in 31,000 people being handed over to the Chinese, the Ministry of Public Security claims. Image: C…

Just a thought...granted, we've only got 3 out-and-out strikers, but Kewell or Garcia can play the link-man, if required, and Pongo may be getting a reprieve...Rafa also plays just one man up front sometimes. We seem to have a lot of midfielders (especially) and defenders too and Rafa is apparently looking to bring in a couple more faces, if possible. Just wondering if "big-squad-can't-keep-everyone-happy" syndrome may strike at all? Note - Ignore - Wrong forum. Berk.
