I've just realised how many quality forumites are not ST holders. Let me sell it to you: we get our own cunt-free forum that is starting to take shape nicely. The football debate in there is (weird, I know) reasoned, reasonable, passionate and engaging. There's no bickering or abuse, no repetitive and dull threads where everyone says the same thing over and over again and generally a level of ownership that has been missing from the FF for years. You can also debate other stuff too, if you like. It really does feel like the forum used to feel back in the day. It's two quid a month, people. Not earth shattering by any means for the hours of entertainment many of you ge…

Employer collecting monies from wages and not paying into a pension. They're fucked, right? Custodial if it’s deliberate and systematic I’m thinking? Some cunt has been collecting money for months from wages for pension contributions and not paying in to it for a group of people I know.

The in-laws keep turning up uninvited and are trying to turn our garage conversion into their very own guesthouse. They've bought their own bog brush, bin and stuff, and they have started storing stuff in there. In an effort to piss on my territory, I am in the process of making this space very clearly a kid's games room. We have darts. We don't have room for a pool table, but we do have room for a foosball table. Can anyone tell me what I need to be looking for in terms of the spec? Is Scudetto the best, or is there another brand? IS there a certain model? Is there a good place to buy them second hand? I don't want to be parting with £1500 really, so looking for somethin…

Been closed by the council. BBC News - Liverpool: St John's Market shut by council over unpaid rent https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-68532903 Sad news for the traders although I'm not clued up about the background. My nan loved the place in the 80s, used to get her Bombay Mix from there. There was a butcher shop with half a pig's face on display and a robotic mini butcher that used to do a chopping motion with a meat cleaver - Chucky style. In the 90s my mate swore by the blag Reebok classics from there too.

At this stage, William could actually be a mass murderer: https://www.newsweek.com/thomas-kingston-cause-death-prince-william-prince-harry-cousin-husband-1875127 This happened at the time he failed to show up for the funeral of his godfather. He's definitely done her in too! I might actually watch The Crown in future, because I love a true crime drama!

It’s time we upped sticks and let the 2022 thread die. It’s never been more exciting to be a fan of the sweet science. Anthony Joshua is fighting Ngannou tonight and it’s just been announced that 57 year-old Mike Tyson is fighting that YouTube knobhead, Jake Paul, steamed live on Netflix. Seriously. This is the golden age.

Any recommendations? We've had a Tassimo for a few years but think it's on the way out. Thinking of getting a Dolce Gusto as you can get decent blag pods from Aldi.

This was posted by a photographer on Twitter. It genuinely moved me to tears. This poor, poor woman. What a terrible way for your life to be taken away from you.

Hopefully self explanatory. As ever, please mention the song and the reference rather than just a YouTube link. I was inspired by my 17th wedding anniversary present from Mrs Willard. “Holly came from Miami FLA “

As part of the MA Film course at Liverpool John Moores University Screen School, we run a short film festival that is accessible online. Last year's students hosted a live event to present awards to the filmmakers, but this year we are intending to have five, one for each of the four strands that films are submitted in (Animation, Documentary, Experimental, and Fiction), along with an awards event. We've had over 2,000 submissions from all over the world to view, rate, and winnow down to the 38 that will be presented in the festival. We're just starting up a social media campaign to raise awareness for the festival, and you can find out more about it at: Home …

Had a letter come through yesterday dated 12/02/24 saying I was caught doing 38 in a 30 back on 22/11/23. I was driving a courtesy car at the time and can understand it’s gone to them first but can I still use the 14 day limitation to appeal this and am I eligible for the speed awareness course instead of the points?
