I'm sure there was a thread before but can't find it. Anyone play board games/tabletop games? Looking at getting zombicide and have seen a special edition monty python one due out next week.

This has been discussed before, however i recently purchased pickled onion space raiders for the first time since my bollocks dropped - top stuff. I'm preasantly torn between them and cheese squares. (indeed, it could be argued that I'm undergoing a renaisance as far as crisps are concerned) All of this new fangled foil-packed posh flavour tomfoolery with Charlotte Church in the adverts, bollocks to it. Why don't they make cheese hula-hoops anymore in the cheese coloured packet? Rather than the cheese and onion? Anyone remember when McCoys first came out and were just plain Cheddar? Ahhh those were the days etc etc....

Brilliant this. New series on Amazon. Fallout 3 is one of the best games ever made and I didn't know if they'd be able to do it justice but they really have. Walton Goggins is as class as ever.

Worthy of a thread of their own. There’s been that many of them and it seems like there’s a new one every week. The bloke from Doctor Who and Kidulthood/Adulthood is the latest one under fire. Let’s have an exhaustive list of all the wrong ‘uns and a place to talk about the latest celebrity perves. I’ll start with the most obvious one. John Leslie - Sex Pest

Right. New thread to discuss Endgame for those of us who’ve seen it. This is supposed to be a gloves off, full spoilers, no holds barred thread about the film. If you haven’t seen it and don’t want to know what happens, don't read on. Edit: the thread has been expanded to discussions of the whole MCU. Same rules on spoilers. Also, if you’re not a fan, sound - but rather than give vent to your burning need to tell us fans how shit the thing we’re fans of is, please consider not doing that as it’s the epitome being a forum bad bell. Nice one.

I know this is old news but I'd just like to say what a tosser this guy is. Getting sacked is the least he deserves. I'd like to give some of my squaddie mates his address and then they could show him some interrogation techniques. "Journalists" like this get right on my tits. Chances are he'll be back in a job with some other rag in a few months after it's all died down. :telloff: Rant over.

Always wanted to get into it and I've watched up to season 5. Favourite storylines include Kramer getting a golf ball stuck in a whale's blow hole and when Kramer becomes a ball man

The imminent Andrew Neil chaired, right wing news channel has made its first big signing I see. Just what the country needs. Obviously the almost complete monopoly they’ve got with the newspapers wasn’t enough.

There are running threads, buggered if I can find them. Since quitting smoking and putting weight on AND having a dodgy knee since last year I've done no running at all. A couple of friends of mine are running the York 10 in August and I'm gutted I'll be missing it. One of them has asked me to go & run round Roundhay Park lake (Leeds) with her tomorrow after work. I must be fucking mental. This could have "heart attack" written all over it. Nice knowing most of you.

Today, I finished building a play area for the kids at the back of our garden that included putting in a wall, moving three tons of soil and walking round in shorts, boots and gloves. Grrrr. What manly stuff did you do today?

Once again being allowed to blatantly flex its political bias while we're told to pay for our licences or else it's a trip to the court, a fine and a criminal record.

Y'know, just fucking boss tunes, tunes that you instinctively turn up to 11. Just had my iPOD on shuffle walking down the shops, and I got that immersed in "Life on Mars" i walked right past the fucking shop, and only realised about 150 yards further down the road. Other tune that can do that to me, "There she goes" by The La's, can get totally lost in that. Anyone else get this, or am i just fucking weird

Usain Bolt just jogged 9.92 for the 100m. Gay and the other Jamacian haven't a chance. Even Michael Johnson is saying he's seen nothing like it. Does this go in swimming?

i was just browsing earlier for an image and i realize that i have amassed, over the years, quite a good collection of images of warfare. i hardly remember where/when i found them all, but it definitely took some effort. i thought i might share some with the forum....i'll skip the more common ones that are familiar and easy to find, and post some of the more obscure images that are historically important, or just great photographs. i hope this is well received for its historic value - i don't have an agenda, nor am i some sort of war monger. i studied military history in university, and was always fascinated with warfare since i was a boy. i also have more than a…

Just finished watching Bosch on Prime and for my sins watched Transformers: Age of Extinction recently. Didn't realise he was in that. IMDB informs me was also in Lost and Star Trek Voyager. Post in this thread any current actors who you've spotted in other films or TV series that you'd never previously noticed.

Just gopt stopped in the streets behind Tithebarn Street by what i think were Mick and John Heanand asked whether i believed a poster to bo offensive or inoffensive. It was a picture of a green toy water pistol on Black background with Shack written in big letters at the top. How would that be offensive? Weird.

The smoke has cleared, the dead have been counted, the battle is over and King Harold Godwinson and his Saxons troops have won. William the bastard has copped an unfortunate in the goads and his Norman Knights are on the retreat back to where they came from, a bit like England ever since. In your view, what would the difference be in the make up society and social structure and would England and the integration of the United Kingdom have been any different?
