Ok lads so my idea for the Boxing draft. Feel free to suggest amendments or pick up any obvious flaws I may have missed out. 9 picks each. 3 Tiers. You must pick 3 boxers from each tier (any weight class within the parameters set by tier) with 1 from each era. Boxer to be judged by his peak in the era and weight class chosen incase they overlap. Once each player has picked their 9 then voters will vote on the best selection of fighters as a whole. Tier 1. Flyweight to Welterweight 50's, 60's, 70's - 80's, 90's 00's to Present Day Tier 2. Ok lads I'll get this going being as Flouncey McFlounceface has flounced off to flounce land (Come back if you read this LFD you can add yourself to the back of the selection thread if you do so before the last person has made their first pick). How it works: For those who haven't played before I will randomise list all our names to choose the selection order. 1st pick 2nf pick etc until we get to the last pick who will then pick two and the selection picks go back in reverse order. Must have made an appearance in a CL winning team, either in 90 minutes or extra time since 1993. Can only pick one player per CL winning club. Players have a maximum of 8 hours to make their pick between the times of 10am-10pm, if they fail to do so the next player can make their pick. Since the inception of the champions league in its current format there has been 13 different winners. I’m thinking of a draft where you can only pick one player per winning club who had to get on the pitch either in 90 minutes or extra time, medal winning but players who didn’t feature not allowed. Should have decent teams but also be a challenge too. Anyone interested?
