Yet again Michael Owen has been overlooked. He was the obvious winner for Player of the Month. He has been one of the main factors in Liverpool being top of the league and he should have won. It is like when he had just broken into the England team and he scored a hat-trick against Sheffield Wednesday, he should have received it that month as well but I think they gave it to someone from Southampton instead.

Yes, I would rather lose a European match than one in the league. Hopefully, when we need to win our last game in Switzerland we will do it. We have done it before against Roma when we needed to win 2-0 and I think we can do it again. As for Saturday,then I have just read that Di Canio is out so that is good news. Hopefully we will get all 3 points on Saturday and not go on a run of defeats like Arsenal. I agree with you about Stevie G too, he is so much better playing in the middle, even when he is not at his best.

On November the 6th we play saints at anfield in worthington cup. No disrepect to saints who have played some great fotie of late but should be give some of the more frindge players a chance or even give a youngster a chance ? My suggestion : Kirkland Carr - Traore - Hyppia - Vignal Smicer - Diao - Cheyrou - Berger Diouf - Baros Subs : Welsh, Mellor, Gerrad, Dudek, Babbel Knowing GH he wont change the team too much around.
