Since it was supposedly a premeditated offence then had this been brought up in a court of law then he would have gotten a heavier sentence than had he not admitted (and it was not proved) it was premeditated. This is also like the Dennis Wise incident. The FA basically were saying that it was ok for some1 to break a colleagues jaw while they were sleeping. If any of us did that at our jobs then we would probably get sacked and criminal proceedings brought against us. It is a similar sort of case here. If you were to do the equivalent to a rival of the company you work for then no doubt proceedings would be brought against either you or your company (in which case…

For me an out-of-towner is just that- a Red who happens to live somewhere other than Liverpool. The arsehole gobshites who phone 6-0-6 and slag the players, wear stupid jester hats and ask "Is that the programme?" to fanzine sellers are daytrippers. Out-of-towner = loyal Red, daytripper = woolybacked arsehole.

Just read yer brief U-17 match report. Whats your take on this years players ? I get the feeling they are physical weaker than most of their opponentens and that the U-17 squad isnt very big, James Frayne played last 20min today and he turned 15 last week and Robbie Foy plays as a striker which isnt he normal position (more of a winger I thought). Howis Mannix doing btw ?

Eleven months have passed since my last visit to the Scouse land. Something like 330 days then in which my mind never drifted too far of this special part of the world. Some 330 days which honestly weren’t the best for me or the smoothest either, notably with my mother not being in the best of health and with the uncertainty that this brought found my spoilt and maybe lucky out-of-touch from the real world self totally weak and unprepared for it. So Tuesday, October 1st I find myself at the local airport, passport and air-tickets firmly in my hands looking forward for what is now becoming my annual fix. A three-hour night flight wasn’t enough to dampen my now high …

Bit of a strange one to bring up I know but does anyone know what Karl-Heinz Riedle is upto these days. He was a great favourite of mine when he was here even though he missed about 75 chances when we lost at home to Barnsley!!! That chip against Leeds was fantastic!

Thank god for the England national team, afterall, where else would we have the pleasure of seeing three of our prize assets playing in such treacherous conditions where the chances of picking up a serious injury were so high. Where else would we see one of our prize assets subjected to such disgusting racial abuse, simply because he was representing his country! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

Paddy must stay!!!

Paddy has always been one of my favourite players over the last six years and the thought of him playing for someone else breaks my bloody heart. I wasnt too impressed with him when he said in The Echo he was leaving on a bosman when his contract runs out. Its just a shame that one of our best players in the last six years is going to end his Liverpool career in a damp squib. Just the odd last ten minutes in a European game with the seven subs allowance. Obviously Houllier must have told him his future is elsewhere. He should be fighting to keep him at the club and making him feel part of the set up. He would make a difference in this team. We are always going on about la…

They struggled to break Everton down through width because every time Beckham got forward he threw himself to ground quicker then you could say John Major. Admittedly David Unsworth was marking him (Old Trafford rugby league play off next week Unsy).
