Have people booked hotels for basle? We are in the metropol, not far from one of the stations. (got four in a room somehow, they wont know whats fucking hit them!) Not sure where the ground is in relation to the centre/hotel? Should be fun getting the train back when we knock them out!! Anyone know any good bars etc, or any hotels/bars where all reds are meeting? We usually all find each other, in the nearest irish bar (a la barca, dortmund etc!) Anyone got any info? ta

Sky News report that FHM are worried about an UNofficial boycott by fans hitting their sales. Would more than likely to be an Official boycott. Atleast (albeit too late since the story has been printed and after numerous email complaints from fans) they have apologized for it. Will print an apology in both Australian and English editions and be making a donation to both the HJC and HFSG

And on Sunday it is West Ham versus Everton and another chance to see Wayne Rooney. And all Tyldesley can say is about the shite protecting him from the hype!!! Protecting him? They are fucking encouraging it. I almost feel sorry for that lad.

Good atmosphere from most of the travelling reds on saturday. I was right next to the leeds fans and never heard a thing out of them all game, i know we controlled the game but i would have thought they may have been up for it? Lets keep it up reds. Next stop, the kiddie shaggin smog filled pit that is the riverside.

Foreigners

There are regular debates that Foreigners are stopping young talent from coming through. In light of the posting below on Seaman, should Liverpool play Chris Kirkland instead of Jerzy Dudek for the benefit of the National team?

is the hardest player at our club??? I think its a tough choice considering all the giants we have! My money is probably on Salif Daio just cause he scares the shit out of me just by looking at him but an honourable mention must go to Diouf. What was all that egging the Leeds fans on when we scored??? Reading some of the stories about him at past clubs, it does appear that you dont mess with him!

Did anyone else see the highlights of our game on ITV last night. After watching the game live, i was obviously fooled into thinking that it was a well earned three points. Thanx to Des (sell-out bitch) and co. I have finally seen the light. Liverpool only had one chance yeaterday and they scored from it. Leeds on the other hand had 7 opportunities to score, meaning we we were extremely fortunate to gain victory. Remind me to not watch games live anymore and wait til 10:30 for the premiership to get the real picture from Big Ron and Andy Townsend.

Click here Posted by Scouser Joe in Adelaide The offending FHM article. Under the heading “World of disasters”. “The world is full of wonders, but is also plagued with evil. FHM examines the events that have made us shudder….” “The Hillsborough tragedy. The tragedy: The FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest on 15 April 1989, had emotions running high among fans, so there was a sizable police presence at the stadium. Forest fans entered the stadium while the Liverpool fans waited outside, to prevent scuffles. But for this match, over 5,000 Liverpool fans were crammed against the turnstiles, and those who managed to make it through…

What do you want? The club to actually HELP the fans? Lets not be fucking soft now. They are trying to make it as difficult as possible for you to go in the first place, by not giving you this fan card shite, why would they help you out with a refund, you are only a proper fan, they mean NOTHING to liverpool football club. Good luck, yours, Bitter Scouse.

Hyypiä says on a finnish magazine today, that he might have a broken rib. A Yugoslavian player hitted with an elbow on Hyypiä in the first half when Finland had a corner. The ball was cleared from goalline. Hyypiä still played till the end of the game. Todays tests will tell if the rib is broken.

Since it was supposedly a premeditated offence then had this been brought up in a court of law then he would have gotten a heavier sentence than had he not admitted (and it was not proved) it was premeditated. This is also like the Dennis Wise incident. The FA basically were saying that it was ok for some1 to break a colleagues jaw while they were sleeping. If any of us did that at our jobs then we would probably get sacked and criminal proceedings brought against us. It is a similar sort of case here. If you were to do the equivalent to a rival of the company you work for then no doubt proceedings would be brought against either you or your company (in which case…

For me an out-of-towner is just that- a Red who happens to live somewhere other than Liverpool. The arsehole gobshites who phone 6-0-6 and slag the players, wear stupid jester hats and ask "Is that the programme?" to fanzine sellers are daytrippers. Out-of-towner = loyal Red, daytripper = woolybacked arsehole.
