Thought I'd start a thread on this as a few of you have asked about it. Basically, anyone who has an active subscription should not be seeing any ads at all on the site (other than in house ones for t-shirts etc). Subscribers are ad free, so if you are seeing them it's because of the theme you have selected. Go to the bottom of the page and select TLW Subscribers theme. When that's selected you shouldn't be getting any ads showing. If your sub runs out you'll start seeing them and they won't automatically go when you renew, you'll need to scroll down and re-select the TLW Subscribers theme again. Any problems, either post in here or sen…

Can we just go back in time eight days and have a redo of everything? What heady days they were. Top of the league with eight games left and looking forward to a European Final in Dublin. Then it all fucking collapsed around us. It’s not over and it would be overstating it to say we need a miracle, but we’ve really put ourselves in a shitty spot now. This is what happens when you keep conceding first though. Eventually it catches up with you. Our chickens finally came home to roost. Everyone has been saying it all season. You can’t keep giving teams a goal start and expect to win every time. Even teams like Palace, who hardly ever win games. They’re dangerous …

Another weekend dominated by refs and VAR as controversial decisions for Arsenal and Man City, plus yet another one against Wolves ensured the officials were the biggest talking point of the weekend once more. It’s par for the course now and even when they’re right it’s still a shitstorm. I’ll start with City’s trip to Palace. The only thing I’ve seen from the game are clips on twitter of the Palace opening goal by Mateta (who looks a different player since the managerial change) and the stonewall penalty they were denied just before half time. Nothing will be made of it because it never is when it’s City. Can you imagine the inquest if that was us though? …

Can anybody tell me why S G has started taking all the free kicks and corners , when, in my opinion, he would be far more effective going for these crosses as he is one of the few players we have that attacks the ball.

I had nothing much to do today so was reading the mailbox on Football365.com I came across this email see what you lads think. Liverpool's Vice Squad source - Football365.com Yet another sh*thouse Liverpool performance - we are really on the slide at the moment. We haven't played well for about six weeks now, and seem to be getting worse. At least Chelsea have an excuse for turning a little bit rubbish (excellent result last night though, which has literally made up for the Rosenborg result) - Liverpool simply cannot justify getting worse after the summer spending. It is said the mark of a great side is not whether they lose, but how they respond to def…

According to Liverpool.no. They're refering to "reports from Holland". Liverpool.no is normally a reliable source. They are also suggesting that we are selling a squad player to help finance the Kuyt-deal. I appologize if this has been posted in the other 700+ posts Kuyt-thread, I couldn't see anything in between all the bullshit there.

You have to say as cult figures go, they don't get much better than the big Croat. His bowl head haircut, his just got out of bed glazed look, his sexual prowess, that weird van he used to drive, the story about him getting caught wanking. All of them legendary but I have to say my favourite Igor moment was when he shagged my sister.

From the Guardian When Chelsea cannot dominate, they rediscover their survival instinct. Following the expulsion of John Terry, they had to keep Everton at bay for an hour. With 10 minutes to go, they were nearly broken by a Marouane Fellaini backheel from Leighton Baines' cross that went wide. Later still, Steven Pienaar did find the net but he had been in an off-side position that allowed him to profit after a Leon Osman effort broke to him. Chelsea have failed for the first time to win an away game in the league this season, but the side must take pride in its endurance. Everton needed means to compensate for the imbalance in resources and the adjustment ca…

i am completley gutted right now and quite frankly embaressed by the bench we had today I love Rafa and think he is a great manager but its just not working and i feel if we lose wednesday or next week he just has to go as the club is starting become a laughing stock on the pitch now aswell as off it and something has to change I completley disagree with the notion we are a 2 man team, Aquilani,Agger,Mascherano,Reina,Kuyt etc are all great players while Benayoun, Aurelio,Skrtel etc are all capable or playing in a title winning side, i liked what i saw of Aquilani the other day but i fear it has come too late for Rafa to change this season and dropping out of th…

....Ground Share......

Couple of points of interest Chris Bascombe finally came out in the Pink Echo saying he was firmly against a ground share Radio City are going to organise an open forum on the matter at a date and venue to be confirmed, we need to get something arranged for this (see below) The protest on block 202 yesterday, very admirable, but not loud and not enough people involved. Its all very good wingeing(sp) individually about it, but its all about strength in numbers, a united front, now that would make a difference. If all the independant LFC websites could form some sort of "alliance", then the parties involved would have to listen. We cannot allow this to…

Good one that Phil! But as a red.......our club has been robbing us of $$$$$$$$ for years, the season tickets on the Kop were £60 14 years ago, and are now touching 5 ton, figure that? I think the club got off lightly!
