I'd like something decided by end of 2011 to be honest so we can get on with building/refurbishing the bloody thing transfer window out of the window, now let's make a final decision on the stadium before the next transfer window i think they are probably still negotiating a naming rights deal with someone and we will most likely announce we are moving to a new 65,000 stadium but i don't want it to drag on and on and on so i ask you ...when are we likely to get definitive stadium news?

So he's been here one season and we've seen enough of him to form a solid view of what he brings (or not, as the case may be) to the team. With a defensive record as poor as ours it seems sensible to focus on issues at the back. For me Mignolet's lack of aerial command has a profound influence on the rest of the defensive set up although I know others don't see it the same way. I think he was a bit better at this aspect of his game towards the end of the season but there's definitely room for further improvement. Thoughts?

Gundogan hasn't signed a new contract has he? I'd approach Sebastian Rode too if I was Klopp.

With Christmas just around the corner, our crisis at the back has hit us big time. Will we find a left back and striker? It seems like Sakho is finally heading to Lille on a permanent deal.

Mario Balotelli’s agent is reportedly in talks with Liverpool over a £14m move from AC Milan. According to Italian broadcasters Mediaset, Mino Raiola – who represents the Italy striker – has already begun negotiating a deal for his client to move to the Anfield outfit this summer. A report on the media giants’ website claims that the Reds see Balotelli as a perfect replacement for Luis Suarez, who completed a £75m move to Spanish giants Barcelona in July. AC Milan are keen to sell the 23-year-old to raise funds for the purchase of players, and would be willing to listen to offers in the region of £14m to £16m for the former Manchester City forward. http://…

So, what do we reckon? I’ll give it two years maximum. He’ll get the first couple of transfer windows free because they’ll want to look like they’re invested in the ‘project’ but the majority of them will still want instant results. Thankfully these days instant results for them would be sneaking into the top 4. What a time to be alive.

QPR with clear goal not given. Hughes will have a little rant if they don't win this.

Sorry to start another thread, but the transfer threadon Carroll is to long and this is more about the player and his qualities. So who is our new signing and what qualities does he have which can help us both in the short and the loing term. The one thing most people know is that he has had a great season so far in the PL scoring 11 goals in 19 games, 18 starts. So lets take a look at his stats and see if they can tell us something. 10/11: PL: 19 (18+1)matches - 11 goals - 3 assists Great return for such a young player in an average team like Newcastle, he does not take penalties either and that makes his starts even better compared to most others on…

Got a feeling these are going to become legendary in their own right. Might be an idea to document them all in a one stop shop from high to low, from manic to mental. It's going to be a fuckin buzz on and off the pitch. First;

Luis Suarez: Liverpool Lead Chase for £15M Ajax South American Scoring Sensation Liverpool are leading the chase for one of European football’s brightest attacking talents, the Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez. The talented frontman currently tops the Dutch scoring charts for his club Ajax and is one of the few plus points in a disappointing season for the Amsterdam giants. Suarez has been playing in Holland for the past three seasons and has consistently scored goals whether playing on the flanks or just behind the main striker. However, this season has been his best so far after scoring 22 goals in 31 league appearances (30 starts). Eight of those 22 goals have …

I searched but couldn't find the original thread. Simple really went on RAWK and someone has just put up a design they did for the 2012-13 kit by Warrior. Cue a bunch of in the knows telling him the deal was a non-starter and we are sticking with Adidas and another bunch saying the Warrior deal will be announced at Christmas as they don't want to be left with a warehouse full of Adidas kit. One forumite even suggested our blue and white away kit was a dig at LFC for dumping them!! Has anybody heard anything?

Didn't want to start a new thread but I felt a few things needed clearing up Just to clarify Dubai are still very much interested in the club, and there is an offer that is still on the table for both the Americans to take them up on, and has been for a while. The offer on the table would see both Americans walk away with over £60 million each, and is worth around £500 million in total. From what I understand, both Hicks and Gillett are holding out for £100 million profit each, which would value the club at over £600 million, taking any deal well over £600 million, nearly £400 million more than the £219 million they paid David Moores and other shareholders…

Now I know I got told off for starting a new thread the other week but what the hell. New ground or refurbished stadium. Big issue because it looks like its back on the agenda big style, all sorts of things to consider, atmosphere, capacity, revenue, disruption, tradition, anfield area, bits that need knocking down. Lot to consider but I think it's time start having a view because from what I see the potential owners might just listen. My view is that its a balance between revenue and atmosphere, is it possible to create an atmosphere that only Anfield has produced in a 60/70k stadium and if we had one would we be able to fill it with the way the world is going. I kno…

not the easiest to judge so far, results on the whole have been utter shite but we've had a big turn around, whole clubs been on a downer a few years now and we've not had the kindest of fixtures so far as well as our bad luck from last season continuing I like how Rodgers conducts himself and like him as a person, the football his team plays will be great once we start getting the 3 points and giving the likes of Sterling, Suso and all the rest chances is great whilst Joe Allen looks a great signing and miles better than I thought he'd be all in all I'm confident that he is the right man for the job but it might take a while to get to a level we are happy with
