I'd like to claim the forum right to write a movie script about this whole crazy affair. From the title (see above) I reckon it could be a kind of buddy movie; where they start of as friends and then are torn apart, and they then have to overcome some obstacles (e.g. the S.O.S and any kind of moral conscience that they have left) and then we can dream up some kind of happy resolution (although this will be the most creatively challenging part). The budget I imagine will be slim, so we'll need some of the forum photoshoppers to make up movie posters where Hicks is choking out Parry with a Liverworld scarf while Anfield burns down in the background. I'll also w…

Another Gollum quote. "People in this country know Goodison is an intimidating place to come," said Moyes. Yeah just ask United fans from last year I know there's a lot of Blueshite stuff on the forum today and I think as a rule we should just look to ourselves and not be 'obsessed' with them but today is an exception.

Here's a great gift for any poker playing Liverpool fan: Liverpool Card Guard Protector, which is perfect for any fan of both poker and LFC. The card protector works as a protection over your own cards so that the other players won't see them. You can find the card protector through eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home decor Besides custom poker gifts like the card protector, another cool gift idea would be to get the full poker set all decked out with Liverpool logo and everything. The set includes 2 decks with crest, 3 dices, heavy duty carrying case and quality ceramic poker chips. This official poker set is provided through the The Anfie…

Liverpool starting line (all4 of them). We are not that good that we can carry 4 shit players. I dispair, Houllier's favourtism knows no bounds. Morale must be high with Hamann, Riise, Henchoz, Pongolle, Welsh and the rest. What do these boys have to do to get dropped? If we win it will be despite Houllier.

On Radio City this morning Houllier says its too early to talk about not winning the title. At the start of the season he said we were 2-3 years behind United and it was unreasonabe to expect us to compete with Chelsea. At the end of last season he said Newcastle had the advantage on us because of their bigger ground. From what I understood, 3rd or 4th was this seasons objective as its a step up from last year and meant overhauling someone who had an advantage on us. Now after losing three league games in a row for the first time under his control and being 12 points behind he changes the objective from 4th to 1st. I suppose we should be grateful he is aiming so …

Staying on the subject of the managerial merry-go-round and Liverpool appear to be a step closer to securing the services of Rafael Benitez as replacement for the recently departed Gerrard Houllier. Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has reportedly cut short his Caribbean holiday in order to finalise a deal to bring Benitez to Merseyside. Benitez quit as a manager of Valencia yesterday, rejecting a two-year contract extension with the Spanish giants, and he is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Anfield later this week. hope this happens i cant wait to see Beni at his press conference..

But some players need to look at themselves as well. Do they want to wear the red shirt anymore, or just want to pick a wage up?

Christmas Kiss Tears at this time of year can be expected to more freely and sadly flow. As Christmas brings out peoples emotions, and can leave them feeling low. So when you shed a tear this Christmas for your loved ones that you still sorely miss. Think of them in a better place, because heaven is a much better place than this When you hear a bell ring at Christmas they say an angel always springs to mind. An angel can mean a different thing to different people, and there must be many a different kind. So when I hear a bell ring this Christmas I’ll think of 96 angels close to home. These are our very own special angels who we promised would never w…

Best poem i've read about Istanbul. Hairs on my neck and tears in my eyes near the end. Class. MY EYES HAVE SEEN THE GLORY McBarnes 20 June 2005 McBarnes from Red All Over the Land pens this poem called My eyes have seen the Glory, inspired by the Liverpool banner in Istanbul of the same name. An army amassed just like centuries before, in a city made famous by sieges of yore. Where Constantinople and Byzantium once stood, A new army now did descend like a flood. An army of thousands in livery of red, Liverbirds on their chests and a dream in their heads. With smiles on their faces and songs in their hearts, of hope a new era was waiting to start. …

...I'm pretty sure he referred to conversations with JWH, Comolli and Kenny. He said he was excited by plans for the summer and something along the lines of we were going for good players who he was excited by. I dont think he was referring to Henderson, Downing and Adam surely. Not giving them a bashing but they surely arent the players who would excite someone like Reina. So is it possible that some foreign deals are lined up?

Seems like an eternity ago now, but we were absolutely on fire that day, even though we started with a pretty unusual line-up. Pushed my confidence for the season even further out there, and even better, it was a win over Chelsea. Great passing, excellent movement, a commanding performance from Agger, flair from Aurelio and Bellamy and Momo bossing the midfield. It baffles me as to what's gone wrong since then. We can reach that level again, though Momo's a big loss. Agger has to start for me from now on, and we need Bellamy's energy up front, despite Kuyt and Crouch's decent start to the season. This abysmal shite won't last forever, and there's every chance…
