OBAHK/MYMK Christmas sales push
by Guest Peter_Evo- 3 replies

Hello readers. It’s nearly Christmas again and what should have been time for the Evo annual i.e. the third instalment of my life and times following my favourite footy team. Sadly, because I had to stop writing between February and July for reasons I can’t and won’t go into right now (maybe in the fullness of time) I found it impossible to have the book ready for Christmas sales. It is, at 70,000 words, about three-quarters finished and I could actually have put it out as a full book but that wouldn’t have been right on you, the people who have made One Boy And His Kop and My Youth – My Kop so successful. I am now looking now at a February/March publication. The goo…

Just for the record, those deleted posts by PaulR were nothing to do with me or anyone else from this site. He deleted them himself. Read into that what you will.

Richard Bransons multi-million pound sponsorship offer has been turned down by Leeds United. Leeds Chairman Professor John McKenzie said, "We can hardly take to the field each weekend with "Virgin" across our players shirts when they are getting properly fucked every match". :>) [%sig%]

Dave Usher Loves Heskey shocker exclusive!
by Guest heropsychodreamer- 8 replies

In an shocking editorial piece Dave Usher admits his love for Emile Heskey. "I`ve made no secret of how highly i rate Heskey" Mr. Usher said in his TLW editorial in issue 26. Some may have been led to believe that Mr.Usher did`nt approve of Heskeys qualities, but then he went on and claimed" he does a lot of good work defensively, and has got all the ability in the world and is quicker and stronger than any defender". Mr. Usher then raises his finger against Heskey`s critics and said "it pisses me off when people say Heskey is shit, he clearly isn`t" :) Now i understand why journalists use quotes and take them completely out of context. It`s fun!.. I`m really …

Grob V Dudek Nicol - Finnan Hansen - Hyypia Gillespie - Henchoz Ablett - Riise Houghton - Diouf McMahon - Gerrard Whelan - Hamann Barnes - Kewell Aldridge _ Owen Beardsley - Baros Where do we fall behind now? Beardsley is a better support striker than Heskey or Baros are. Our distribution from the back was far better then as he had a classy defender in Hansen. The current team can more or less match up (individually) IMO. I think the problem is that the current manager is not getting the best out of them. That 1988 was a TEAM whilst the current lot are all over the place at times. Also did the 1988 team fast centre backs to be able to attack…
