There was a time not so long ago when a City home game against Brighton was only ever going to end up with three points to the cheats. Those days are no more.
They led twice but in the end were lucky to even get a point. The opener came from the spot when Marmoush was fouled and Cave Troll scored from the spot. That’s 29 goals for him this season, which shocked me as it feels like he’s only scored about half a dozen. He must have got almost all of them in the first couple of months of the season before the arse fell out of City.
Estupinan equalised with a brilliant free-kick. Shite goalkeeping from that bellend who ran his mouth after we embarrassed them at Anfield.
Marmoush restored their lead with a good shot from 25 yards but City were never convincing and Brighton had plenty of opportunities before Khusanov put one into his own goal. He’s always got a face like a smacked arse him. No wonder, bad things seem to happen whenever he’s around. Strong Phil Jones vibes about him.
Minteh missed an open goal, Hinshelwood put wide from close range and Baleba blazed over when he should have scored. City’s only real chance was a header against the post from the new midfielder. Can’t remember his name, so we’ll just call him the Lidl Rodri for now.
That Joao Pedro is a horrible, playacting shithouse. We’ve been linked with him but I really, REALLY don’t want him. He’s not that great and he’s a massive knobhead.
