Report: Positive news with Fabinho injury

Liverpool have finally received some good news with the hamstring injury suffered by Fabinho not as bad as first feared in Tuesday night’s 2-0 Champions League Group D win over Midtjylland.

The Mirror reports that scans have revealed that the Brazilian has only suffered a Grade one tear of the muscle which could see him return immediately after the international break.

When the fill-in central defender fell to the floor grabbing the back of his leg, you could have excused Jurgen Klopp to wonder what other form of bad luck could transpire against his team early in this campaign. Whatever luck has gone Klopp's way this season, it's all been bad. Given the run he's having it's not the ideal time for the boss to try his hand with american online casinos.

The manager cast an ominous tone when describing the injury on Tuesday evening.

“He felt his hamstring, and that’s not good,”

“He said he could have played on but no sprints, which doesn’t help. We will see, we will know more after a scan but clearly it isn’t good.”

Already without Virgil Van Dijk for the rest of the season and with Joel Matip on the treatment table once again, it was left to young prospect Rhys Williams to come on and gain some invaluable experience and he certainly did not look out of place. However, using Williams in higher profile games against quality opposition would certainly be a big gamble, much like spending the day on southafricancasinosites casino.

If Fabinho’s return to full fitness sticks to the speculated timeline, he will miss two league matches (West Ham and Man City) as well as Atalanta in the Champions League.

The report also stated that Matip will not be risked for this weeks clash against the Hammers but could be fit for the Atalanta clash.

Jordan Henderson can be used as a emergency fill-in option as well as Williams and Nathaniel Phillips who had a encouraging spell in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart last season.
