PODCAST: Villarreal 2 Liverpool 3 (May 3 2022)

Enjoyed that, I don’t get time enough to listen to them all, so good to have a spare hour this morning. I’m horribly superstitious, my mum’s fault, and these days I have to throw the ball for my dog a certain distance each time, more often than not reaching the distance in order for us to win. So it’s not the fresh chewy that’s doing it!

Interesting convo. regarding what would be viewied as a success this season. No matter what happens this team will go down as one of the greatest in history. I would be very happy with one of the big ones (PL or CL) to compliment the LC already in the bag. Dont'd really mind which one, but I would edge on the side of the PL if pushed, although there is not much in it. 

Loved Smithy’s paean to No. 20. 

Another great listen - way better than other podcasts where you have OTT reactions and 'bantz'.  Half way between Chris' and Dave's choices regarding "if you could win one" - I want to 20 in the flesh, but I don't want to see those  oil cheats with 'our' Cup.  What a bloody dilemma.

Great result last night, could not have happened to a nicer team! Jill Grealish having 2 cleared off the line makes it even funnier. The difference in the build up to the CL final will be huge, no, no-mark tin-pot manc oil cheat clubs, just European royality in the sun in Paris. The football gods have spoken.

Enjoyed that (funny how I enjoy a podcast recounting how the team I love has just got to a European Cup Final - surprising that!). I was fully with Chris on wanting Number 20 above all else, but when @dave u posed his question my bitter old head immediately went to ‘fuck those new moneyed, half empty stadium, self entitled, state owned cunts, and fuck the league and give me that European Cup and the misery piled on City’. No way I want them winning Big Ears. My hope is Pep fucks off soon to try and win the CL with someone else, City finally get caught for financial doping, they are sold and dissapear back to mediocrity.
