In my experience, it's usually unwise to pay attention to anything after the words "all due respect" are spoken, because what follows is almost always a lack of respect.

It's only natural that people will have favourites and then some who they don't particularly enjoy, and that's fine. There are pods I listen to where I enjoy some more than others, but I wouldn't go and make a comment like to them because I'm not a cunt.

What kind of absolute fucking whopper makes a comment like that on a relatively small forum about a contributor to a relatively small podcast who is a lad who’s simply doing his mate a favour for free? Especially when he does so in the certain knowledge that that lad will read his comment because he’s a member of the same forum.

If ever a post encapsulated this modern, utterly shite, world where people think it’s absolutely normal and fine to speak and act like an absolute cunt. 
 

And I can safely say I love hearing JB on the pod. He brings a refreshing and considered opinion backed up by interesting figures and stats that are actually relevant and add to the discussion.  He’s a perfect counterweight to the other podders with a more ‘from the heart’ view.

Other than that time he called Klopp "Cheerleader-In-Chief", I've never seen him post.

JB is sound. 3 stacks is a good poster. Never mind all that. The important thing is who’s got the supercar driving round in their garden. Vrrrrmmmm. 
Great pod as usual. There are loads of us that love listening to the pods. One or two feel the need to give critical feedback. That’s ok. 
When the next vote for podcasters comes around have at it.

In all fairness, there probably won't be a future vote for podcasters, considering we've all been going to the match together for 20-25 years and, for better or worse, that's what makes it what it is. 

The other fella can do one with his "feedback". There's constructive feedback and there's being a rude twat.

I know there is no vote Chris, I was being a bit sarcastic. Live and live an all that. The pod is boss no matter who’s on, prob like the old ‘fighting talk’ if you remember that ( everyone has their favourites). I reckon in retrospect 3 stacks regrets his post. I believe he’s a good poster on the ff and hope he continues with his LFC thoughts. 
You’re all a credit to this forum with the effort you put in and long may it continue.

I think the podcasters are superb, but you could do with sacking that Dave U lad off. He's always talking about parrots and fishtanks and golf and that. 

Where the fuck is Numbers? Every week I tune in hoping Numbers will be on but he hasn't been on for weeks?

John is probably my second favourite contributor after Numbers. Always look forward to the midweek / European pods with John.

I can see why some not like him because he's never going to have that slick 'media trained' delivery but that's the beauty of the podcast, its just normal lads chatting shit about the game. 

The reason I like John because he comes across as genuinely sound, quite knowledgeable and seems like he'd be a good laugh in real life. Plus he nutmegged John O'Shea.

Chris, I have to take issue with what you said about people who go to Thailand. I presume you just meant seedy old sex tourists rather than all tourists, but it kinda sounded like you were referring to all visitors of Thailand were cunts and if so, that is really poor stereotyping and ignorance towards that country. I have gone as a backpacker several times over a decade ago and also took my wife & kids a year ago. It's a stunning country with wonderful wildlife, people, temples, culture, food, sport and partying. While the seedy side does exist, so does it almost everywhere else in the world. It's really sad that this is the main assumption and association when people think of Thailand.

I have also been to Dubai (layover) and Las Vegas (stag do) so I have hit the full cunt bingo (it's a fair cop) and I am with you on Dubai, to an extent also with Vegas. However Vegas does have the Grand canyon on it's doorstep, which was sensational. I wouldn't say all visitors to both those places are nailed on twats, but would say it is more likely that they are than other destinations.

Back to the pod and I really, really enjoy it, my previous criticism of there being too much reference to the group chat has seemingly been roundly ignored or you've made a subtle change, either way it doesn't bother me any more. Perhaps you explain the comments better, whatever it is, thanks for sorting it. I really enjoy the chemistry and antagonistic nature of it and the hard work put in. If Dave thinks he's working had, what about me, trying to find the time to listen to the pods and be up to date is a tough task, but somehow, against all odds, I find the time. What a guy.

Weeks? Years! I went to a hip hop gig in Liverpool a couple of years ago and he was the warm up DJ for KRS1. So, having his number from the original pod days, I dropped him a text. He’s doing well. Think things were tough during and post-Covid as gigs dried up. However, I think things are ok for him now. He’s a really nice fella, Numbers, with great taste in music. 

Nice one Paul, good to hear Numbers is still knocking around and doing well!
