PODCAST: Liverpool 3 Norwich 1 - Match Reaction

Let me tell you a couple of three things:

1) Three people is a necessity. Gives everyone time to talk, makes it more vibrant, active but nobody is outstaying their welcome. In fact, you want to hear a little more and tune into the next one.

2) You need a pragmatist/cynic on every show. Dave thinks this is the best team we've ever had, so you need some  balance to that, otherwise it gets too Rawk. Jules and Brownie fit this perfectly, so you need another when they're unavailable.

3) No Stu Monty. Never Monty. Podcasts spread through word of mouth. Asking your family and friends to listen to a Liverpool podcast is tough in itself, telling them that they'll also be subjected of 30 minutes of Stu is an impossible sell.

Imagine a weekly guest forumite pundit slot.

Could be dynamite. 

Basically, get Nightcat on the pod or give me back my member’s money, you cunt.

Also notice that not many people seem to have rated the podcast. Get rating you pimpmobiles.

I think you have all gone too deep on the performance. Klopp has done this many times, he's knows it will be disjointed but the key is getting rest for some, game time for others but ultimately 3 points while doing both. It's a bit like Utd back on the day, 3 or 4 world class players in the starting XI plus a couple in reserve, only one needs to play well to beat a Norwich. This time it was Thiago that got the job done, Inter at home will be the next similar assignment.

I also think Klopp is quite happy to shake on a 2 nil and move on, Pep on the other hand wants to win 7 nil and humiliate his opponent and them drown him praise. This is one of the reasons they fail in the latter stages of the CL and we don't, we take every opportunity to take the foot of gas, they go to Burton Albion with a 9 goal lead and still play 7 or 8 first teamers.

That's fair. I feel like we can't really overlook the drop off those changes result in when analysing the performance though, especially as we're likely to see more of this in the weeks to come. While this is all part of Klopp's plan over the 90 minutes, when you're an hour in and you're at home to bottom of the league and it's not going to plan, it gets a little uncomfortable.

I use Spotify, on TLW podcast main page there's a star top right(ish). Click that and assign the stars.

Just find the show, scroll down and tap the stars to rate it.

Agree about right back - would like to see Milner there again. Unless he hasn't got the legs anymore?
