PODCAST: He Made the People Happy - A look back at the Jurgen Klopp Era

After nine amazing years Jurgen Klopp's time at Liverpool has come to an end. He won everything, broke all sorts of records, treated us to the best football we've ever seen and gave us one hell of a fun ride.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Paul Natton and Julian Richards for the final podcast of the Jurgen Klopp era. Thanks Boss.

Brilliant job on this lads.

In terms of the players who might struggle to get the same love from Slot, I'm worried about Harvey despite what Dave says. Just because of the lack of size, power and real pace.

Great pod lads- I thought Lallana might have got a bit more of a shout in terms of Klopp's favorite players. He seemed to epitomise everything Klopp wanted when he first got here and  I remember Klopp giving him the biggest hugs in those first few years. I don't think he gets enough credit.

I haven't finished the pod yet (saving the last bit for tomorrow morning when I'm driving) so it might have been mentioned already but one of my favourite results was the 2-1 win over Villa with Stadio's injury winner in the title winning season. City had already won their match and were ready to pounce if we slipped up. We won though and City never caught up to us after that.  Massive result

I've really enjoyed the podcasts this season lads.

I find most Liverpool podcasts a bit pretentious and can't listen to them. They tend to either be full of people trying to boost their own ego by acting like they're the definitive voice of everything Liverpool related or by people trying to out-scouse each other.

I like that it's just a group of mates chatting about the footy and having a laugh with each other. It's relatable and it's seen me through lots of days at work so thanks for putting them out there.

John Barnes is the main reason I got into football but Sadio starts wide left in our greatest eleven.

Two left wingers is a bold selection.

Watching some footage of last nights celebration at the Arena, just brings home what a fantastic human being Jurgen Klopp is.  As stated on the pod, if the world had more people like him it'd be in a much better state.

Great pod lads & one last time. Danke, Jurgen.
