» Kenwright slams Bog Eyed Italian 'Redshite'

Everton supremo Bill Kenwright has launched a blistering attack on legendary Italian referee Pierluigi Collina, after the world's most famous whistle blower was spotted cheering on bitter rivals Liverpool in their spawny Champions League semi final win over Chelsea on Tuesday night. Kenwright branded Collina 'a horrible cheating red bastard' and claimed his presence at Anfield was conclusive proof that Collina had a vested interest in ensuring Everton didn't reach the knock out stages of the Champions League in 2005/06.

The furious former Coronation Street star told TEW: "People laughed at me when I told them that Collina was a redshite when he disallowed Duncan's perfectly good goal against Villarreal, but who's laughing now? Me, that's who, because I've been proved right. Except I'm not laughing, because that man cost this club something like £20m when he chalked off Dunc's goal, as ifithadnabinfer that decision we could have won the Champions League that year" complained Bill.

"I mean, that other club from across the park won it and we finished above them in the Premiership, which means we were better than them which must mean we would have won the Champions League, ifithadnabinferCollina. We've got some 'unfinished business' like we had with Barcelona in 86, and plans are already afoot to arrange a meeting with Arsenal in 20 years time. Hopefully the money raised from that game will finally allow us to purchase Dr France's memorabilia collection."

The chrome domed bulging eyed Italian was spotted in the Main Stand at Anfield, and was seen on camera explaining to a UEFA official why a goal from Dirk Kuyt should not have been disallowed, and Kenwright was far from happy about what he saw: "What would he know about whether goals should be allowed or not. Ask Duncan what he thinks about Collina and disallowed goals. That's if you can find him, the last we heard he was living under a bridge on the Formby bypass with just his pigeons for company. But I digress, the point is that Collina is a redshite, I told you he was a redshite, and now he's proved he's a redshite by going to Anfield to cheer them on."

When we mentioned to Bill that Collina was at Anfield in an official capacity working for UEFA, he was unimpressed, spluttering: "What? Erm... well he would say that wouldn't he? I don't like Italians, you can't trust them, but having said that I'd like to wish AC Milan all the best for the Champions League final. Everyone here at the People's Club are rooting for you, and we've still all got our Milan shirts from two years ago which we will all be digging out, washing the tearstains out of and wearing proudly on May 23rd!"
