  1. I wonder what part of 'from next season' you didn't get you fucking spaz. Fuck off.
  2. My old man often harps on about how the Captaincy was unceremoniously taken of Phil Thompson and given to Graeme Souness. I genuinely like Hendo but it's time to make Virgil Captain from next season.
  3. *If* we really are not planning on signing a new GK then I personally would feel better if Mig is starting the new season in the shirt over Karius.
  4. I don't want Karius to fail or to see him struggle, I just don't want to see him in goal for the simple reason that he not good enough. He's never looked liked being good enough from the moment he made is debut and no amount of support or perseverance with him is going to change that. Klopp's not stupid he sees what we see the problem is that it's now a massive climb down from here to drop him and give the shirt back to Mig...which he absolutely needs to do btw if we're genuinely not planning on signing anybody. It's almost as if the position of Goalkeeper at Liverpool this last 3/4 years has just become completely untenable.
  5. At Anfield tonight...I asked my Dad (never missed a game at home since '73) if he'd ever witnessed a goal keeping performance as bad as that. My Dad's ace btw 71 years old....he never gives out against a Liverpool player... ...he was nearly in tears. I didn't ask him to elabotare any further. If that lad pulls on our jersey ever again it will make me seriously question our Manager (and I really don't want to have to do that).
  6. Today was a powerful demonstration that I was very proud to support and take part in but on the walk away from the ground it did occur to me that actions like this are not sustainable for us a loyal match going fans and it doesn't hurt the Owners financially. I think a development on this is a total boycott of any/all snacks, drinks, programmes, merchandise etc inside and outside the Stadium on match days (basically anything with an Official Club stamp on it). If we can somehow get the masses to buy into this idea that will really start to hurt them and maybe hopefully have them start to re-think their current values when it comes to us as supporters.
  7. 9. For 'only' £4 I was able to buy a 520ml 'pint' of Guinness (which was only 10p more than my usual 440ml 'pint' of bitter). Positive to take away. Lesson learnt. Showed class and character too. Might get two against Villa?
  8. He'll do his best, he'll give 100% and he will get us a few goals (probably nowhere near the number he got last season) but it's just another unambitious signing that won't exactly have anybody getting overly excited.
  9. Can't help but get the feeling that the owners just don't give a fuck anymore and are possibly looking to sell. The cynics may say they never gave a fuck but I don't believe that to be true in the beginning. John Henry can't even be fucking arsed to show up anymore, not even for a Wembley Semi-final nor the final home game of the one of the Club's biggest ever legends. The imminent relaxation of FFP is just the final nail in the coffin.
  10. Yeah he's a decent player, even I'm not negative enough to slag this one off too much.
  11. Yes but it's just not going to happen. Rodgers is going to get another season.
  12. I know it's embarrassing what we've become when it comes to transfer dealings under FSG. I think I'm going into hibernation now, somebody wake me up when it all stats again and I'll deal with all then.
  13. Like others I had a bit a mixed reaction. At first I'm like "What the fuck have you lot to be singing and dancing about?" But I'm not going to begrudge Stevie a few days on the piss if these lads actually are his mates.
  14. All of Tuesday's papers are going hard with the line that he's staying. I imagine some accountant somewhere reminded John Henry how much it would cost to sack him only 12 months into a new 4 year contract. I agree that he's lost the dressing room, those players on Sunday threw him under the fucking bus and there's no way of denying it. I've done my best to support him this season but I'd be gutted now if we don't move him on because I just can't see anything whatsoever to get excited about moving into next season if he's still here.
