Indeed some of them are now almost half as good as Manami Toyota & Akira Hokuto. While that sounds like damning with faint praise it's actually quite the compliment. But other than the Japanese girls only Bayley in the WWE would be good enough to compete with mid 90's Japan.

I don't know how anyone could watch something like the Young Bucks, Omega, virtually all of the Women's division outside of Bayley, Asuka, Satomura & Serena Deeb and not come to the conclusion that they lost the pool so decided to do synchronised swimming in a ring instead.
