  1. Glad to hear the good Dr was under consideration! Can't remember what his PHD was in! It defo wasn't in how to win friends and influence people I know that!
  2. 19 - coulda been worse! Some of the questions really brought back memories - flexing, Chelsea trolls and fight locations especially. Disappointed there was no Dr Ahmed PHD question!
  3. Outstanding - felt like I was there reading that! Great work.
  4. I knew already but can remeber being shocked like you when I found out. Love connections like that.
  5. It's about the taking part anyway so we all win!
  6. If anybody fancies a read about how Hodgson was never the right choice for England's players please have a gander at what I wrote on the subject: http://www.lfcdaytrippers.com/2014/06/26/the-futures-shte-the-futures-hodge/
  7. I wonder if Hodgson ever watches any of these teams with inferior players outperforming us in the World Cup and has a moment of clarity? Nah never gonna happen!
  8. Section - Yeah agree with that really . For me The Shield is probably always my favourite but sometimes I prefer the other two as they are both great in different ways.
  9. Yeah think you have nailed it. Whilst I love the other two particularly the Sopranos the Shield gives me exactly what I am looking for really - I always felt despite the arcs running through it that every episode felt like a small film which for me was perfect really.
  10. Yeah agree with that really - although it does have some deep heart breaking scenes but across the board I would agree. The Shield for me was like the perfect blend as it had just enough of everything - if you wanted action it had it, intelligence it had it, emotion it had it etc.
  11. Section wasn't the guy playing Ronnie just Shawn Ryan's friend or something? That scene with the Lem and Vic pictured above was something else. The Shield for me despite being highly rated is criminally underrated as should be up there with the likes of The Sopranos, the Wire etc.
  12. Forgive me it's been a while since I have been on here!
  13. I think it's like how Clattenberg said Lallana changed after playing for England. Dave has definitely changed since the ESPN thing! As Shanks would say TLW is your bread and butter Dave. Wouldn't surprise me if he changed his hairstyle next - Lallana cut - and bought a Porsche. ;)
  14. Agree with the shouts on Happy Valley - gripping, well acted drama. It passes my not interested test i.e. at the outset it seemed like something more for my other half's taste than mine so I'm at the table on my laptop, 10 minutes later after listening to it and having the odd look I've shutdown my laptop and am on the couch watching it with her.
