  1. Hopefully it goes to stage 3 on the ballot (2 on the membership), then I've got 3 cards going for one ticket, knowing my luck all 3 will be unsuccessful, just need one otherwise I'll be the lonesome watching it in town whilst everyone else is sorted and off to Wembley, fuck.
  2. If that young lad McCabe for Rangers plays to the standard he showed in the Old Firm week in week out then he's going to be a great player, 3rd appearance for Rangers, yes appearance not start, and he's bossing the Old Firm game? Nice.
  3. If they won us at Anfield and are 5 points behind us at that stage, then yeah, why wouldn't we be?
  4. Win and we are 5 points behind them, so yes they are technically still in our sights and it's down to us to cut that gap, probably won't though. :wallbutt:
  5. Premier League 1st April 2012 Newcastle United vs Liverpool Sports Direct Arena We've lost 5 of the last 6 games we've played, if the league started on January 1st we'd be 19th, next up? Newcastle away from home, not ideal, but we are Liverpool, and if there's something we've learnt from this time, however frustrating they may be, it's the fact they know how to turn up when its a big game... We still have Newcastle in our sights (I'm not sure how given our 2012 form), it's going to be tough but sometimes I have more confidence in this team when put in circumstances such as this as opposed to circumstances like Saturday. Prediction: 1-1 Ba, Gerrard STATISTICS Newcastle United have averaged [/b]1.5 goals per game at home[/b] in the league this season Liverpool have averaged 1.3 goals away from home in the league this season. Last 5 meetings between the sides Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle Newcastle 3-1 Liverpool Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle Newcastle 1-5 Liverpool Well there's always plenty of goals in this fixture! We usually don't do too badly either, battered them on every occasion bar as of late bar that one game Carroll (yes, Carroll) tore us a new one. Liverpool's last 5 in the league Liverpool 1-2 Wigan QPR 3-2 Liverpool Liverpool 3-0 Everton Sunderland 1-0 Liverpool Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal Our form is woeful right now, our lowest point under Kenny? Last week (QPR and Wigam) has been demoralising, bar the derby win, its been a bit crap as of late in terms of points and performances Newcastle's last 5 in the league West Brom 1-3 Newcastle Newcastle 1-0 Norwich Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle Newcastle 1-1 Sunderland Newcastle 2-2 Wolves Newcastle coming into the game in good form, won their last 2 and were very impressive vs West Brom, especially the first half, been unlucky to not get something out the Arsenal game too, and also at home to Wolves, not sure how they drew that
  6. Definitely agree with the lads saying we should never have sold him, but I'm not devastated we did all the same.
  7. Well it's good for us isn't it, but on the whole I guess it won't benefit the game here at all, bar a handful of clubs, 'small club big club' gap somehow getting bigger than it already is.
  8. Montolivo's contract out in the summer isn't it? Wouldn't mind a bit of that even though he's been a bit off this season. Just want us to sign a class CM, Winger & Striker and I think we're good to go then.
  9. Liverpool aside s, this game is the one I look forward too most, can't wait, if Celtic win the league at Ibrox, fuck, Glasgow will be horrifyin'
  10. Yup, if he comes our chances of top 4 double, I'd put us as favourites for it to be honest, him Suarez and Bellamy as our attacking line and with us to play Arsenal and Chelsea both at Anfield? Fuck I'd be a lot more confident than I am currently of doing this with him playing.
  11. Exactly mate, people saying they wouldn't want this to happen, I simply cannot understand their logic, he's class, and after a couple of weeks of him doing what he does best I'm sure these lot would change their mind and wish we had him beyond the summer to be honest, I genuinely think he'd thrive at Anfield, hopefully it's more than just a rumour, it's unlikely to happen but fuck it.
  12. I want us to sign him, I mean why not? If we have the chance to loan him til the summer surely we have to take it? He's a world class striker who will increase our chances of top 4 come May, so it's simply a no brainer, a front 3 of him, Bellamy and Suarez could be unstoppable, hopefully this come to fruitition come the 1st February, fingers crossed.
  13. Tevez Suarez and Bellamy would be dynamite as an attacking unit, this ain't true though, theyd be silly to do such a deal so it's obviously bollocks.
