Personally, I cannot remember the last time Lucas let us down as defensive midfielder. Lets's face it, Rodgers is just shoe-horning Gerrard into the team at Leivas expense. It worked in the main last season because of the Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling attack. Defensively, it has never worked playing Gerrard there, last season nor this.This season we would be better served by playing Gerrard as AM and playing our best DM as DM. And Can has only played 5 games at DM in his career.

Apart from playing a major part in getting rid of H&G, getting Cohen fucked off & getting the Kevin Williams epitition done, what has rawk ever done for us?
