I'd have to disagree with that. He's alienated the fans, players, the ambitions of this club, even Alder Hey hospital (he's even managed to lower their expectations by referring to it as the 'second best children's hospital in the country')! The football is an embarrassment to be associated with LFC, we're all aware of how poor his signings have been, the face rubbing, the contradictions in every interview, blaming everyone but himself. Taking all of that into account (and I'm sure there's a whole load of other stuff I could quote), he'll be gone by the summer, hopefully sooner. NESV need everyone pulling in the same direction, and with empty seats, players rumoured to want to go, fans almost universally hating him, Comolli in place with a CEO to follow, the writing is on the wall. I just wish he'd go now and we can all get fully behind the club rather than continually talking about Hodgson.

You're right, they could be just as bad. Although they would have to be twice as stupid to do the same stuff that H&G have - they won't be oblivious to the campaigns and protests going on, and I'm sure this will have been discussed at some point between NESV and Broughton.

From what I hear and read of the Red sox, they appear to be run quietly and efficiently, achieving success on the field without much fuss. I used to know a football club like that.......
