  1. Here's a suggestion, e-mail this to the echo, spread the word to more Liverpool fans, and maybe then the pressure from them will get him gone. Happy days :D !!!
  2. And the award for the best rumour goes to: from tribalfootball and posted on lfc.tv I know it is probably not true, but one can dream :D
  3. According to what I've heard, Remy plays more of a right forward role, and to be fair to the lad, scoring 14 goals from the right, in a team that finished 15th, in the league with the least goal tally (due to defensiveness), he has done pretty well; if he comes and scores 10 goals for us in the league, i'll be quite happy. Given the fact that he is a right forward, we will probably play 3 up front, Remy Jovanovic Torres With Remy and Jovanovic playing as right and left forwards (acting as wingers but coming inside more as well, similar to kuyt), but both also being able to fill in Torres's role, when he is injured. We would have a fucking pacey forward line, could turn out to be a great move (if true, but so far, it all seems to be pointing to us)
  4. Probably agent bollocks as people have said, but there is still that lingering fear that we may actually see this old, shit, championship quality (never mind wigan quality) as a first team player for liverpool
  5. To be honest, i would say he is too shite to even be a squad player, but the talk coming out is that he is going to be Mascherano's replacement: swapping who could be the best defensive midfieder in the world, for someone whom is deemed to shit to play for Austria. Someone sort it out. SCHARNER SET FOR ANFIELD TALKS Posted 11/07/10 17:40EmailPrintSave Paul Scharner is set for talks with Liverpool next week over a possible free transfer to Merseyside. New Reds boss Roy Hodgson is thought to be an admirer of the versatile 30-year-old, who left Wigan after his contract expired at the end of last season. Hodgson tried to sign the Austrian on three occasions when manager of Fulham, but failed in each attempt. It was also thought that the 62-year-old was trying to secure his signature at Craven Cottage before moving to Anfield at the start of July. Aston Villa and Sunderland are also rumoured to be interested in landing Scharner's signature, but Liverpool is believed to be his preferred destination. If the deal is to be successful, Scharner could possibly fill the void left by defensive midfielder Javier Mascherano should the Argentine depart. "Roy Hodgson and Paul Scharner - this is a special relationship," said Scharner's agent, Valentin Hobel. "Hodgson thinks that Paul's strengths in midfield are better than his attributes in central defence. "Liverpool would be a dream, of course, but we are in contact with several clubs. Because he is a free transfer, he can choose."
  6. I must say I am terribly disappointed with this appointment, but as others had said, could have been a hell of a lot worse. He'll have to earn my respect though (little bother to him though), but until then, it will be more me not opposing him (not being unfairly critical, not undermining achievements), than me being openly supportive (strongly argue his case). Sill, i'll cheer for the team, and that includes the manager
