  1. The pedigree thing is nonsense really. There’s been a merry go round of managers that have won things at the dominant clubs in each country around Europe. They all consistently have the pick of the best players in that country. They then end up fucking it up or underperforming because they don’t actually do a lot. We aren’t the dominant team and we don’t spend like a top half team so it’s pointless thinking hiring one of these cunts is going to achieve anything. Alonso is a bit of a freak situation. Gone are the days of up and coming managers winning something in a country as an underdog like that. He would have been ideal but had he not won the league he would still have been the best option.
  2. Antonio Conte is the most Code suggestion of all time. We may as well bring Mourinho or Zidane in based on the same metrics. The reality is that their success is based on factors we can’t and won’t provide them but that doesn’t fit into the computer calculation. Loads of money and the best players in the league aren’t coming here. If we are ever to be successful as Klopp has proved we have to do it differently and the big money we do spend has to come from developing players and selling them off at over inflated prices to mugs. I didn’t think the Ancelotti myth would rebuild itself after the Napoli and Everton reality checks either but it has. He’s gone back to another job where he doesn’t have to do much because all the best young players in the world are going there and suddenly he’d be an ideal candidate for us as well.
  3. I’ll call something else I reckon is going to get us fucked at some point. Trent isn’t just going into centre midfield. He’s stepping into centre back and Quansah is then going down the line as a right back. We are then giving the ball away leaving Trent at centre back getting attacked on where he will do exactly the same shit he does at right back.
  4. It’s what happens when everyone is shifting around to cover the laziest cunt in professional football. You could see it coming. Quansah is on his way over to engage the winger because he isn’t sure whether Mr walk is going to bother. We are then overloaded as every defender has to move up to the man in front of them. We are all over the place from that point. Just go and look what he’s doing and where he ends up while the scramble is going on. Brilliant free kicks once every blue moon are just not worth this level of shite laziness.
  5. I don’t think he means anything by it. He’s just genuinely the thickest cunt in the league. Words just tumble out of his mouth and he doesn’t even know what he’s saying. Any time I see him talking on anything it’s just unbearable to listen to. You can tell he’s been media trained to within an inch of his life so he thinks he’s a lot better at this PR stuff than he is. Everything just feels so robotic with absolutely no thought to it at all. I expect us to get murdered today if he starts because he and the coaching staff have clearly learned nothing from his time out. He was still walking around letting players run off him. As great as the first 10 mins of his long balls were he fell to bits attacking wise after that and was nothing but a problem individually and tactically for the rest of the time he was on the pitch. If we start with Danns up front it’s going to get ugly fairly quickly. He’s not good enough to start games and is far too loose with ball. The players aren’t the problem it’s braindead shite tactics that we refuse to change. I thought a few weeks ago with Alonso turning us down that I didn’t want Amorim because of the 3 at the back and we should have a rethink about Lijnders but he’s meant to be the genius behind this failed inverted full back nonsense that we refuse to give up. I’ve gone from being devastated Klopps going to thinking at least we won’t have to watch this shite set up again next season. There’s no way any other manager and coaching staff would blindly persist with this garbage.
  6. It’s absolutely nothing to do with bravery or effort. It’s completely down to how we set up. It’s why nothing gets any better whoever we pick to play and whoever comes off the bench. If we had played the kids we would have got absolutely murdered. Still I look forward to code putting up some obscure skewed stats and the penalty and some sort of reason Salah was brilliant tonight again.
  7. Substitutions for the past couple of months have made us worse nearly every single time. It’s not the players being picked it’s the fucking awful set up.
  8. It’s mad how shit at attacking we can be week after week and yet we start the next game with exactly the same shite tactics and plan every single time. I’ll say it again as well because I never get bored of saying it. Trents attitude and body language make me fucking sick. The fact that somebody is allowed to behave like that and get lauded the way he does because he can hit a long pass is the problem. We don’t address weaknesses in players and we let them fester. The lack of width is a complete mess and obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes other than Klopp and Ljinders for some reason. We don’t score goals from open play because we don’t create chances. We don’t create chances because our plan is a thousand passes in the middle of the pitch and if we don’t manage to give it away then eventually pass it to a player outwide on his own and expect a miracle. I’m fucking sick to death of it.
  9. It’s not helped by Robertson uselessly charging into the box to stand a yard away from the forwards instead of helping doubling up on the defender with Diaz. We do this sort of shit constantly. It never ever works yet we carry on doing it over and over again.
  10. Klopp and the coaching staff are the ones who’ve fucked it up. The tactical set up is a complete mess. We don’t create chances from open play unless it’s a mistake, complete luck or an unreal bit of skill. There doesn’t seem to be any plan whatsoever anymore on how to break down a defence. It’s been like this for months. It’s like they’ve disappeared up their own arse with this full back coming inside nonsense. For the last 15-20 mins of play Robertson was standing in a centre forward position while Gakpo was trying to beat his man on his own to get to the byline to put a ball in with his weaker foot. Left footed Elliot on the other side cutting back in because he’s got no option himself to either play it back to the centre half or loft a hopeful ball in. Meanwhile Trents been drafted back in and instantly just parks himself in the middle with absolutely no option at right back to pass the ball to. Most of the time it’s like we are doing rondos in the middle of the pitch between the midfielders and the centre backs to lead to nothing or give the ball away and get broke on. It’s insane that we are in the position we are really considering how fucking badly set up we are. Taking Nunez and Diaz off was unequally comical as well.
  11. We’ve been tactically shite for ages. The “getting the extra man in midfield by pulling a full back inside” needs to die a fucking horrible death. We are obsessed with it and it makes us lopsided. It’s horrible to watch and provides no benefit. We were top of the league in spite of it. We play on momentum and always have done yet we start every game with the same tactical mess that causes us to play everything safe and slow which then ends up being risky and slow. Van Dijk jogging to that ball that he got nicked off him in the first 10 minutes or so set the tone for the rest of the night. It just feels like everyone thinks it’s too easy. We have loads of shots but it feels like we don’t create chances from building with the ball so when sides take a lead and can defend then we struggle. It needs shaking up which is mental considering how few games are left. If we don’t get away from these tactics then the season is going to fall to bits.
  12. We’ve got no plan or pattern for creating chances. Every week it’s the same shit. I’m loving this latest nonsense of Robertson playing the ball up the line then just sprinting inside to the same position two or three of our other forwards are in pointing in front of him as if Diaz can play the pass through about 2 or 3 of their defenders.
  13. You act like we haven’t been in this position countless times in recent years. When it’s close we never win it. That’s down to the opposition and the referees as much as it is us. We have to be exceptional and win every game when it hits this period and we can’t do it. It’s ridiculous that we have to buy it’s the reality.
  14. Just accept we aren’t winning the league. We’ve ran out of steam. The forwards aren’t scoring and the lads coming back from injury aren’t up to speed. Jones was absolutely horrific. Quansah killed us though. That mistake has been coming since the Brighton game. He was at it all first half in that game as well. He’s got too confident holding on to the ball. He just delays and delays until he’s got one/two options and then plays the highest risk worst one which is easy to get wrong. We fucked it up not playing Konate and swapping today and Quansah in the week.
