  1. It's probably been said a million times before, not least by me, but I do find it fascinating how a party that presents itself as the protector of tradition and family values has such a strong tradition of, not just your run of the mill sex pests, but the proper exotic full on creepy fuckers.
  2. All right, but apart from shit paintings, terrific dancing, promoting vegetarianism, loving animals, being a socialist and making the trains run on time, what has Hitler ever done for us?
  3. I think the argument for freedom to make your own decisions, and live or die by them, goes out the window considering the billions of pounds smoking related illnesses cost the (generally non-smoking) taxpayer each year via the NHS. As a principle, I'm in favour of capable adults being allowed to make their own decisions in their lives, but not at the expense of others, or society more generally, and that's the line crossed here. And, if we are to accept that the freedom to do your own thing is paramount, then why doesn't that apply to everything? I don't remember anything like the same outrage from 'libertarian's' when so-called legal highs were banned not long ago, and they don't cost society anything like as much. Cannabis? Try telling some stuffy Telegraph reading cunt with a whiskey in his hand that we should legalise weed and he'd think you were smoking something. It seems like societal/cultural norms and stereotypes figure into their calculations more than inherent principles.
  4. Either you somehow missed the post that Rico alluded to, where Toxteth talks about changing the narrative (that was quoted half a dozen times since) or you have seen it and still saw fit to post what you have. Edit: just read the post above
  5. Roald Dahl over here. Fucks sake, what a muddled, factually incoherent and racist post. As someone's said, you're conflating the actions of Israel in the modern day with those of Jews historically, going back over 2500 years. If the narrative needs changing, then, if the Jews weren't victims during the Babyonian captivity why not? If the Jews weren't the victims during the Roman invasion of their land and the persecution of their people then why not? If the Jews weren't victims when Edward I launched a smear campaign leading to hundreds of Jews deaths in this country at the hands of bigotted gullible cunts, eventually kicking them out the country rather than paying his debts, then why not? If the Jews weren't victims when your man Hitler chose them as a scapegoat for Germany's post-war ills, leading to their persecution and near fucking extinction in his gas chambers, then why not? Fucking state of this place that people who trumpet their progressive inclusive anti-racist credentials turn into ostriches whenever someone spouts racist abuse against Jews. I'd hardly be surprised if GCHQ are monitoring the site for evidence of far-right activity.
  6. That face belongs on the front of a low production value 90s British porn DVD called Lizzie Deepthroats Luton.
  7. Pretty much sums up the state of public discourse these days. Fuck waiting for verifiable evidence when you can find and express a truth that fits with what you want to believe. Or what you want others to believe.
  8. A few years old now, but possibly the funniest take down of a cunt of his ilk I've even seen online, especially given what Fox was talking about and who the response was from.
  9. "All around me I could hear people crying and saying 'poor Liz'. Imagine my anger when I realised they were talking about that dead woman."
  10. Corbyn wrote for the Sun too, before he became leader. And from Tony Benn's diaries: "Well I don't want to be known as a Sun columnist. But I wouldn't mind writing occasionally...because you are getting through to a working-class audience that is potentially Thatcherite but should be socialist". Cunts.
  11. I've dealt with a lot of homeless people, both in my work and living in central London, and in my experience the vast majority are mentally ill, with any substance addictions being a symptom of that. Any lifestyle 'choice' they make to spend their lives getting obliterated, eating food from bins and sleeping outside shop doorways isn't the choice of someone who's in any real position to make those decisions. They need help, in the same way that any severely mentally ill person needs help. Criminalising them would be an exercise in futility.
  12. Works for me, though I fear for this forum's servers if Labour win the next election. edited to add
