  1. "Two words and the second one is Brilliant! I just had the weekend from Hell and it cheered me up no end!" Under The Mud's a locally-produced indie film trying to raise money to get the word out. We're chuffed to have just received the above endorsement and some words of encouragement from Liverpool FC's announcer George Sephton . What's more, he's even going to play some tunes from the Under The Mud soundtrack and give us a shout-out at the next few home games, helping to further spread the word - thanks George! See UnderTheMud dot com for more info :-)
  2. Hope you don't mind us posting this here...I know a lot of you a Merseyside based or, of course, at least have an interest in our great city ;-) You might be aware of locally-produced independent film Under The Mud, written in collaboration with local youth groups and starring young people from the area. The project is being spearheaded by Hurricane Films who produced the critically Of Time And The City. We're trying to raise money to paint a bus (just like big Hollywood films do!) with Under The Mud stuff to really get the word out. As you might know, it's set in Garston and written by local young people. It's got great reviews and interest worldwide, but we can't get any of the big movie companies to distribute it, so we're doing it ourselves, and need to get as many people as possible to pledge their support at this cool site we're using called Kickstarter. There are loads of cool rewards available for backers, including getting your name on the bus :-) There's loads more info and videos about the film at Under The Mud dot com. If you can help in anyway to get the word out, by following us on Twitter (underthemud) or telling your friends to be our fans on Facebook, it'll help show the world a quality Scouse independent film!
