  2. In all fairness he didn't have the best of games but its on'ly his second proper game. He needs a chance
  3. I understand where you're coming from obvoiusly we can't just magically make money appear for transfers but i just think if benitez was a bit wiser in the transfer market it would be a different story
  4. very good performance from him. shame he had to come off injured
  5. This IS Rafas fault. He has had 5 years to build the squad that he wants. during that time there have been 67 players come into the club. surely out of them we should have a good squad. However benitez isn't good enough in the transfer market. There has only really been Mascherano, Torres, I'm going to say johnson because he is making an impact at the minute who are still at the club who have been good signings. in total benitez has spent £210,425,000 and what have we got to show for it apart from torres. Have a look for yourself at liverweb.org.uk
  6. Carragher shouldn't be dropped. Ok he's had a bad start to the season but Skrtel has also been awful. We need his experience and skrtel is useless at everything he does. For me if we play agger and skrtel our defence will be 10 times worse
  7. Steven Defour's agent has confirmed that Liverpool are keen on the Belgian star. Real Madrid have joined the hunt for the Standard Liege playmaker, who has previously been the target of Everton and Aston Villa. Real were considering Defour should they not sign Xabi Alonso from Liverpool, who are also viewing him a replacement for the Spaniard. Roma's Alberto Aquilani remains a target for Rafa Benitez, but Defour is also very much on the radar for the Anfield club, who are expected to sell Alonso to Real this week. Standard have insisted that they will not be parting company with their prized asset but, Defour feels that is not the case. "I have an agreement with Standard Liege that I could go to a top club, and Liverpool fit the bill," the 21-year-old is quoted by the English press. And his agent, Paul Stefani, has confirmed that Liverpool are keen on Defour. "Steven's name has been mentioned not only at Real Madrid, but also at Liverpool - they are looking at him too," he told the Daily Mail. "Normally he would stay for another year, but nobody could say no to clubs like those - and Liege would not stand in his way."
  8. I can't access it either there must be an issue with the server or something
  9. Brazil superstar Kaka has completed his move to Real Madrid for €65 million according to a Spanish radio station. Notorious radio station Cadena Ser, which announced the switch of Zinedine Zidane from Juventus to Madrid, claims the Milan playmaker has signed a five-year deal. Kaka will become the first signing of returning president Florentino Perez at Madrid, and the deal will become official on completion of medical tests after the former World Footballer of the Year returns from international duty. Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was in Madrid to discuss a deal, and now Kaka’s agent has confirmed that an offer had been made. "The offer of Real is significant, but lower than that made by Manchester City, who offered more than €100m," revealed agent Diogo Kotscho. That deal has now been confirmed by Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, who conceded that Madrid were offering sums of money that the Italians simply could not match. Kaka will be paid €9 million per year for five years, and receive half of his marketing rights during his stay at El Santiago Bernabeu.
