  1. He's outscoring his XG He doesn't get us He's just got his club promoted to the Belgian top division. Can't see him leaving for a assistant's job
  2. Nagelsmann sign a new deal with the national team
  3. Not disputing its a risk, but that dutch managers have done it in the past. if he is the right man or not we won't know but none of them listed walked into a better situation than Slot will of he is the next manager
  4. van Basten is in Maybe he can come as his assistant and piss virg off, or just bring his boots. Reckon even with his fucked ankles he could still finish better than most of them and would probably start more games than Jota “I think Slot is really good. I hope he stays in the Netherlands longer because it enriches Dutch football,” he told Ziggo Sport. “He can really go anywhere: Bayern Munich, Liverpool… I’m convinced of that. I hope he stays in the Netherlands, but I am convinced he can do it anywhere. I’ve spoken to him a few times, and he handles the players very well. Of course, he is also very well-versed tactically. “I can explain his ideas well; he is calm and intelligent. He is a top trainer. I think he can go to any club, even difficult clubs. He is very smart in his choice of words.”
  5. Take it all with a pinch of salt as ive no clue who the guy is, and if you can be arsed reading it Coach principles: Arne Slot — Feyenoord | by Marc Lamberts | Medium
  6. 7. Who never took Dolly Parton seriously, she is one of the greatest song writers in history She might not have had much UK success but not really a shock as country music has never been that big here outside of a smallish dedicated fansbase,
  8. That Becky Lynch win was about as obvious as they could make it as soon as she was attacked outside the ring.
  9. if ever there was a need for a fucking sinkhole to open up and swallow the fucking crowd
  10. I've done the shoe thing before. Got home after a night shift and was supposed to be meeting my mum as she needed help with her shopping and my grandads. Fell asleep in the chair and got woken up late and just grabbed the trainers under my bed. Got halfway there and realised i had two different trainers on. Problem was one was dark grey the other navy.
  11. A few good books if anyone is interested in this stuff If you have Audible(or even if you dont, you can get a free trial/book. This is a great listen This one if you want the Sicilian mob history And if you want to branch out to Mexico there a great English journo who moved there Ioan Grillo who has some books and has done long interview with Joe Rogan and a few others. There are far darker than anything on the Italian mob and as much terrorists than crime.drug gangs El Narco is probably the best. i have not listened to his latest which is more about gun running between the US and Mexico and how its so linked with the private gun selling in the US and drugs going from Mexico to the US and guns and money coming back. Also Shaun Attwood(major history in drugs trade and served time in the US Shaun Attwood - Wikipedia) wrote a set on the war on drugs thats narrated on Audible that covers the Narcos(Colombia) story in far more deatils than the series and covers the bits they didn't want to cover about the US(Bush Snr,Clinton etc) involvement and the US pretty much setting up Barry Seal to die and various other bits. I should add, i don't admire any of these people, i find everything to do with it fascinating though. I do find the rats/grasses the lowest of the low though, not because of some weird street code but because they arn't remorseful and wouldn't have changed their ways, but they got caught and couldn't face the time they should serve so serial killers walk free after a cushy spell of a couple of years in a safe wing or lower level prison and then get a new chance at life
  12. This is the biggest rat in the Italian mob Joe Massino boss of the Bonanno family and went states witness when they threaten him with the death penalty. They had gone under the radar for years and after the Donnie Brasco fiasco the other families kicked them out of the commission so the FBI didn't target them as much and Massino rebuilt them and kept them quiet, but once it got out they were big again and got caught out by the FBI, Massino was pretty fucked, caught on wires if i remember correct and flipped on everyone to avoid a possible death penalty
  13. Another nobody in the grand scheme of things, just another that couldn't do his time. When you read the account not from his books the thoughts are he made loads of shit up to look far more important than he was. Just got famous because of the book and he was linked to Burke(Jimmy Conway in the films) which meant he could be connected to Paul Vario and then when he was in the shit for drugs he was able to testify and wrap them all up in a conspiracy case. He had very little to do with the Lufthansa theft, hence why he was killed with everyone else, and he is the only person that has ever spoken about the Air france robbery so nobody really nows how much he played a part other than connecting different people
  14. Till now thy titles have been but few, Duke of Edinburgh and Warden of the Royal Privies. We thank thee Egbert for thy work in Edinburgh, know now that we do relieve thee of thy heavy task and give the Dukedom to our lord cousin Hastings. King Richard IV
  15. Valachi was a nobody really, Gravano was a serial killer
