He is slow from the back though, not so much once the move forward but everytime i have seen them there is plenty of possession based football in the defensive third keeping possession passing around between the CBs and CM to pull players out of position or tempt a press before moving quickly to the front 3

If its Amorim and we plan to play his more possession type play I think we have major issues in this squad. The squad is built for power not City/Arsenal type tapping it around then moving quickly in final 3rd. There's some big questions to be asked of players. Robbo and Salah look on the downside of their careers. Trent attitude just isn't right imho. Far to much swanning around admiring his long passing. Alot of work to do if the new manager implements a new style,especially in a summer of limited time with the squad because of the Euros. There isn't one forward in that squad I'd bat a eyelid if we sold them. Salah for age,Jota injuries but the rest are either too inconsistent or not good enough for the highest levels

Didn't have any options other than kick it long. The press was good as it was all about slowing down not winning the ball. One pass was on and immediately it meant passing back. They figured us out easily and in 180 mins the players and coaching staff didn't figure anything out to beat ist

They went man 2 man with our 3 forwards. Mame-Firmino-Salah would habe tore them a new arsehole a few years back. Dint understand why we didn't change out the 433 for so long. Could easily have gone 424 and played Szoboszlai and Mac Allister as a pivot and gave us another player to move the ball out of back quicker and forced them to change shape with a extra attacker to deal with. Players were terrible but Klopp/Pep have not been quick enough to change things the past month

We have bought alot of players from smaller clubs where they don't have to live with pressure each and every week and they look mentally shot .That combined with the announcement that Klopp is off have drained them mentally more than physically. Players wondering of they will be here next year and wondering who the new manager is isn't a good combination for success

Got exactly what they deserved over the 2 games. Everyone bar Alisson has been pretty much shit for the past month, Klopp included. We look like we are just playing out the season, no belief,no clue.

Robertson is done at this level. Especially if Amorim comes in wanting wingbacks. He's definitely lost pace
