  1. "No "carrying" of passengers that truly great sides like Man Utd can do", too much love there for my liking.
  2. I have to agree that any Liverpool player that consistantly pulls out of a challenge isn't a proper Liverpool player regardless of what they offer, it's a pre-requisite of being a Liverpool player, he is a bit of a shithouse & i don't like it.
  3. who exactly do we have that is better then Downing as a true left winger pray tell
  4. Well, i pretty much can't disagree with any of that, sort of sums up "what does he do for us" Not much really, he's a nothing player really & i hope he moves on so we can try something else.
  5. I have absolutely nothing against him but i'm struggling to find what it is that he offers, he defines averageness to me, he might go on to be a great player but not with us, like others have said you sort of expect some sort of explosion of ability from him but it just never happens. He won't be missed, as long as he is replaced i'm not avert to a new face.
  6. Meaning he probably knows nothing else ? Bit of a media lock-down i reckon since Kenny's latest outburst ?
  7. I agree Jose, this is what i mean by Broughton's brief regards his parameters,as long as all the creditors are paid in full, is this the main criterior as apposed to making profit for the twats ? Does he really have a say in what is the " Best Deal"
  8. Yes, i agree, after what i've read recently from Broughton i believe they have headed him off at the pass so to speak, the "RBS bids get re-directed to us" sounds like a counter-measure to me. I'm expecting Kenny to fail unfortunately as i think his press release is a desperation act but these are just my views but i really hope i'm wrong. I'd love to know what Broughton's brief is regards his parameters for selling, it's obviously the crux of what we are all hoping & wishing for but alas, money men aren't fans even if they pretend to be. I still fear the "Biggest Offer" solution, regardless of the "Doing The Best For The Club" I pray for the latter.
  9. Thanks for my lurking pedigree but i think my point still stands regards Lippi being a 62 year old manager with the best part of 40 years management remaining solely in Italy. Think it's a very long shot imho but agree would be a bit of a coup if it happened
  10. Lippi is a great, highly regarded manager who has only ever worked in Italy & he's 62, it's just not gonna happen is it, reality ?
