I agree with many points, in that we certainly need another 'Torres' style player for when he cant play, and although i cant imagine it now, thinking of the two of them up front together is drool-worthy (awaits comments...)
Eto'o has certainly come on since the early years of his career. I remember watching the la liga highlights a few years ago after school when he was at real mallorca and he was fucking awful, seriously the guy couldnt score against a team of dogs, but in the space of a season he picked up his game and by god he's a potent striker now.
Like Tevez, but dont particularly want a red-shite cast-off, there'll certainly be sod-all loyalty on his behalf IMO, though who knows what Mascherano is tempting him with behind the scenes, being his country captain and all
