Sandro is a good shout to beef up the centre mid position and give us a bit of presence in there. Maxi and Kuyt look like they will be gone so take one of Kalou or Farfan (not world beaters but they are both pacy and goal threats) on a free and then buy someone like Mertens from PSV to offer something totally different from what we already have. We are a striker short as it stands and need someone quality. Soldado has that proper strikers instinct and will get goals over here. Hes like the anti-Carroll when the ball is out wide. Always trying to steal a yard in front of his man rather than standing like a statue and moaning when it isn't placed on his head. I'd also see Bellamy used as a striker more often. He was great away at Bolton and in the CC semi vs Man City when played up top. A bit of steel, some goals added to the squad and some craft in Mertens and we'd be a much better outfit.

No idea who is fit but i'd go with something like:- ------------------Reina Kelly/Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique ----------Wisdom, Spearing -----Suarez----Gerrard---Downing --------------Carroll I know Wisdom is a centre back but it would be nice to see someone with a bit of presence in their who is comfortable on the ball. Being a kid he does have the odd mistake in his game so hes not going to given a go at centre back anytime soon but he'd do a solid enough job shielding the back 4.

Yep this 442 is killing us. Its shit seeing Gerrard pick the ball up off our centre backs toes all game when hes best at causing havoc in the final third. Hes our best player, give him a fucking licence to play in an advanced role and get us scoring goals.

Frustrating game once again. An opposing team comes to Anfield with two defensive midfielders sat in front of their centre backs and grinds out a draw. Only this was even more frustrating because when we got it wide Walker was unbeatable and shit hair on the other side was solid enough. Whats the solution? Buy better attacking players. Lads with a bit of unpredictability to their game, creative spark, ability to beat a man and desire to get on the ball whether they have men snapping at their heels or not.

Loic Remy. Pacy, good movement, has a trick or two and knows where the back of the net is. Would fit in well with our current playing style too.

I think the midfield needs a big revamp. I'd sell Lucas to the highest bidder. The lads not the worst player in the world and would make a decent squad player for a good team. He really shouldn't be starting week in, week out for a club like Liverpool though. We can do much better. I'd also sell any of the attacking players bar Gerrard and Suarez if it meant bringing in a world class matchwinner from somewhere.
