Great effort from Murray. Had a great tournament and deserved it. He is right up there as far as British sporting talent goes and we should enjoy it while he is around. We will soon enough go back to rejoicing when some no-mark gets to the third round of Wimbledon. What an era of tennis.

Had a couple quid e/w on Lowry so shame that didn't come in. Went to bed but the penalty ruling sounded like a farce. To be fair Johnson deserves a win. He has been close a number of times.

Bloke chucks a ball at you from 10 yards and I would say that there is enough doubt that he is doing anything beyond reacting to this. It would have been good if Starc and then Smith had reached differently but they are sportsmen I the heat of the battle hence why I blame it on 3rd umpire.

Honestly think the cricket has been pathetic in this series from both sides. Neither team would have got close to the teams that have competed in the ashes over the last 10 years.

It was on the trent bridge site or Notts CCC. As I say it was about a week ago but definitely had some tickets available then.

Going first day. Potential for rain which will be a fucker. I saw there were tickets for day 4 still available last week but I will be away. As long as we win this test then I'm sure he will. Hales on his home ground is an option although he had gone off the boil since the early part of the summer. I'm going to the first day. Can't wait.

Feel sorry for the guy but Lyth just isn't good enough at this level. I wonder if we will persist with him at Trent Bridge? Probably will as there is no obvious better option.
