Alonso deserved an 8 until about 10 minutes before he was hooked when everything he touched turn to mud. Still our best outfield player. The worst was undoubtedly Riisse who made even Zenden look like a decent footballer. When he isn't scoring 30 yard belters this guy is without doubt the worst player to ever pull on a red shirt. How he manages to so consistently trip over the ball when controlling a simple 5 yard pass I'll never know.

Onwards and upwards. We were appalling but at 0-1 theres no reason for too much pessimism. It's going to be tough to break these cunts down at Anfield but with a vocal crowd and the right team (Pennant please) theres no reason we can't get a goal or two. We need to get at 'em early.
