  1. Would be very happy with M'vila, Salah and Ings. Three young quality players that answer three current concerns. M'vila - the midfield powerhouse desperately required. Salah - pace, creativity and potentially world class Ings - A proper finisher who impressed me at Bournemouth before the move to Burnley. Its only injury that's kept this young striker from coming to everyone's attention before now. Have no idea how much these three would cost but at 23 years old or younger as well as adding quality they also add years of service/investment.
  2. Being Peterborough born I saw a lot of him last season and he gave every defence in the league all sorts of problems. It's a shrewd bit of business by Palace or whoever else comes in for him; I've heard Newcastle offered more but he wants to move back to London. Typical premiership supporter attitude you have. If its a Spanish player who's only played in Spain's second tier (which isn't as competitive as the championship) then 6 million plus is a fair price.
  3. The lad's quality and will go on to play international football. He was awesome in the championship last season so 6 million rising to 8.5 million with add ons for a 22 year old who scores goals is about right.
  4. Charlie Austin unproven at the top level but proven at every other level with an incredible scoring record....only 23 years old so a certain amount of resale value if he doesn't cut it, English so won't need to adapt and already relatively local........also fits the profile.......he'd be available for no more than 7 million so also fits the budget.
  5. I'd definitely snap up Stephen Fletcher if Wolves go down.
  6. A better player than Adam but even if he wasn't such a twat I don't think we should be signing midfielders who'll be 29 when the season starts unless they're absolute world beaters.
  7. Adam Johnson for £20m or less would be a great signing but it won't happen.
  8. So he's not as good as Diouf......
  9. I more or less completely agree although I'd have Johnson in the nailed on starters and Agger too if he can get fit.
  10. Being a Peterborough supporter due to town of birth I went to the Charlton v Posh game and was looking forward to seeing how Eccleston would cope in league one. Sad to say on the basis of that game not very well.
  11. Ince was on the bench for most of his loan stay at Notts County and failed to impress. Chamberlains been electric all season for Southampton who are arguably the best team in the division.
