Replacing the old financial officer, who announced his personal decision to quit the role due to family reasons back in the winter, with another financial officer. Fucking hell talk about conspiracy theorists and people with a clear agenda towards FSG with absolutely no fucking reason. Have a word.

Comolli had been in the job 3 months. FSG had owned the club for 4 months. It's easy to see why the mistake happened. Doesn't justify it but to use it as something against Ayre (who was commercial director at the time), like some in here are attempting is ridiculous and agenda driven.

When Carroll was purchased, Ayre was commercial director. Doubt the commercial director has any input into deals. Sure people would moan if so.

The rumour is actually that Hogan is being appointed CEO, but that Ayre is remaining.
