    Pretty difficult to bomb a leader out of existence. Even after the most devastating bombing of all time the US (and allies) spent 7 or 8 years occupying Japan to rebuild its economy - and it probably wouldn't have been successful if they didn't keep Hirohito in place.

    Perfect theocracy would obviously be better because it’s perfect. Now, whose definition of perfect you want to go with is a different matter. I presume it is mine.

    Obviously football is too expensive, and the owners are billionaire American cunts, but I would reckon 2% increase, which is way lower than the rate of inflation, is not worth protesting about. If people expect club staff to get pay rises in line with cost of living increases, which I’m sure they do, seems a bit over the top to protest a small rise in ticket price.

    I don’t mind the pass from Diaz, it was like the ball was a bit stuck under his feet so he didn’t want to shoot. Fair enough he should be better there but it wasn’t a terrible option. Darwin didn’t even need to pass it to Dom either, he should have just cut in onto his right and blammed it in.

    Mostly Stone & Wood Pacific Ale, but also a couple of pints of Wolf of the Willows XPA. Here’s the thing though, after my earlier 60th party post, I went to the shops. The girl in the green grocers asked me what I’d been up to over the weekend. “Went to a mates birthday party says I, bit depressing that I actually have a friend who is 60”. ”Oh, have you had your 60th yet?” For fucks sake.

    Went to a mate’s 60th birthday last night. 60th, fucking hell. 6 hours of free bar and no hangover this morning though. I might still have it.
