He bought Borini to play as a winger, not as a striker in 4-3-3 which was his prefered tactic when he signed as manager. Now we have Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana and Markovich ahead of him in the queue. I am not a fan of Borini, I dont think he is good enough, but he should be playing instead of Balotelli and Lambert as a lonely striker, or with one of them if we play with two strikers.

He should have used Borini indeed, but he clearly doesnt rate Borini and wants to sell him. If he gets to play he might not want to leave at all. Being a manager for a top club means making tough decisions...

BR is still a young manager who is learning the game. Im not sure if he is to blame or the transfer committee, or both. He had Alexis Sanchez as his nr. 1 target when Suarez left. He also had Ryan Bertrand as his 1 choice. He couldnt sell Borini, because Borini refused to go to Sunderland. Instead he had to get someone in at the end of the transfer window, and ended up with Balotelli... With Sanchez+Bertrand and Sturridge fit we would be very close to Chelsea, as our playstyle is based on pace up front. In that case BR would be declared a genious. I think 2nd part of the season will be much better, and we are very lucky that 4th is still in reach. With a new striker in + Sturridge back we can finally play the way BR wants us to play with high pressure and pace. We cant do that with Balotelli and Lambert. Those of you who think that sacking BR and getting Klopp in january will change anything are just muppets. Im 100% sure that Klopp himself would want to turn things around himself. No way is he leaving Dortmund in their current state. At the end of the season he might though. If BR cant turn things around FSG will have to wait till the end of the season. Those of you speaking about Simeone are just lost in space, he is out of our reach. There are no good managers available in january. BR and the players will have to turn things around themselves. Sacking a manager mid season may have an effect if the team is struggling to avoid relegation, I dont think it has ever happened that a new manager has ever qualified for champions league after taking over a team after the season has started. Idiot comment. You pull the money card because he is likely to chose a club with maybe the best coach in the world who has always developed homegrown/young players, Bayern will most likely win their league 9 out of 10 times and are almost guarantied to reach the quarter final in champions league every year, they play out of this world football at times, and he gets to play with proven world class football players. Liverpool is a mess these days, cant blame him at all. It would be fantastic to get such a talent, but he needs to follow his head, not his heart.

Things will improve when we get Sturridge back, and hopefully Origi or another striker with pace. Our biggest problem as I see it is the lack of pace in attack. Sacking Rodgers wont solve a thing and will set us back 4 years. We should wait till the end of the season to discuss his job. This will be a shit season, but we can live with one more year without champions league football...

So play Johnson till Flanno is back. But I dont think we will beat the lucky cunts anyway.

The most logical thing to do in my opinion is to splash out the needed cash to get Origi in january. If we go for another expensive striker now, we will have Sturridge, Origi, Balotelli, *new striker* as first team choices, and Lambert and Borini as backup(who refuses to leave) in the summer. Thats simply too many. But now BR has his squad depth, I hope that he will add players that will go straight into the team from now on. Problem seems to be that he doesnt know what his best eleven is as we got too many players that have to settle in.

Martin Ødegaard is allready the best offensive player in the norwegian national team by far and he is only 15, dont know what it says about him or about our national team though! His best assets are his teqhnique, a very fast thinking head, and his creativity and ability to open up defences. Some scouts has said that he is even better than Christian Eriksen was at his age. Real Madrid flew him in with a private jet to convince him to sign for them recently, I dont think they do that very often with young players as Martin Ødegaards father has said he will not be signing for any academy, but for a team that garanties a place in the first team squad. I thought first he was a major hype, but after watching him a few times I think he could be tremendous. Playstyle is a mix of Coutinho and Christian Eriksen imo. I really hope that BR signs him as a hot prospect, but only time will tell if he will make it to the first eleven.
