  1. Fuck getting emery. He followed Wenger at arsenal and was shit. And his football is fucking dire.
  2. Demented. And she'd get it. The perfect combination.
  3. I had thought we could maybe do that with woodison. You could probably get it for peanuts when they're in administration.
  4. I'm not saying it'll be sound. It won't. They're 1bn in debt and they'll likely come out of administration still massively in debt and not own the stadium that was meant to make them rulers of the world. I just don't think they will go bust. They're not bury. The new stadium will be something people can cash in on. But that only happens if they survive and pay the rent. Which I realise rent paying is not something they're known to enjoy doing.
  5. Nah, there's money to be made off that if you've got a sitting tenant. Someone will pick up a brand new 750m stadium for probably a third or half of that.
  6. I don't mind a pint now and again, but I'm fucked if I'm paying 5 quid or whatever for a bottle of warm carlsberg. Back in the days when I'd booze all day on match days, a pie or hotdog in the ground was often the only meal I'd have until a kebab on my way home (if you can call either of them a meal). It's been years since I bought any food though (for myself at least, I have bought for the kids).
  7. Has anyone watched yellowjackets? I watched season 1 and quite enjoyed it until the end, which was shite. Season 2, I can't concentrate on it and I'm at the point in episode 4, where I've no real idea what's going on because I watch about 2 minutes before my mind drifts to pretty much anything else. I'm thinking it's time to fuck it off.
  8. My ST is there now. Up to now it's looked a bit rough on the concourse. The food and drink stations have been hit a miss and no draught beer. And the lifts aren't working (which matters to my mate as he struggles with the stairs sometimes).
  9. I think there's merits in all the outcomes. And one of the hard things to judge is after an international break, it's like another reset and how can everyone get going again after it. For me it just comes down to maths. If either team wins, our rivals drop 3 points. If it's a draw, they drop 4. If i had to pick a winner, it would be arsenal.
  10. I think people are arsed. We may not be. But people outside of our city or support shite teams, internationals is where it's at. People who live in countries where the league is shite are the same, it's all about the country. And finally, it matters to the players themselves. It doesn't make it right they'll play after them being injured for their clubs, but it's completely wrong to say nobody is arsed. We're very much in the minority about not caring about international football.
  11. The stadium is why they won't go bust. If it gets that bad, they'll go into administration, they'll come out the other side with less debt and renting the stadium off someone else.
  12. Imo, there's absolutely every chance Trent won't remain a Liverpool player. But I think that'll be more to do if he sees his future elsewhere or the club won't pay him what he believes he's worth, than it being because the new manager would see having a local player who's won it all and now transitioning into a new position as a headache.
  13. I think his short range passing is better than any number 6 in the league. He can be careless though. That's what he needs to improve on in my opinion. I think that's exactly how someone like Sean dyche might look at it. I think an absolutely top tier manager would look at the skillset in Trent and look forward to making him into a balon d'or winner. In exactly the same way an absolutely top drawer manager would see arriving at Liverpool with this squad after klopp to be an opportunity. A lesser manager will see the dangers in following an iconic manager.
  14. He played Tuesday night and a full 90 minutes. That rules him out of this weekend regardless as he's such a crisp bag, we can't risk him that quickly as every time he plays twice in a week he breaks down. So he'll play Thursday or the following Sunday probably.
