So I had a couple of days off and I've just got myself an XBox for the first time. This game is EPIC, it's one of those games where you keep playing but the reason isn't the game play it's the story. You need to finish it.

 

The cut scenes are quality and the song at the end of episode 3 or 4 (the muse) is better than most of the shit that makes it into the charts thesedays.

If you haven't already done so (I'm probably the last person alive who hadn't) then I suggest you check it out.

 

On to Deus Ex now for me which I also got for a tenner, come to think of it one of the games I got with a voucher from Gamestation for buying the XBox so I got them both for a tenner. Result.

 

Any other suggestions for games that will be in the bargain bucket that are worth a second look?

I have it but I got stuck soon after getting to the radio station early on, keep running out of ammo with no sign of more.

 

Kept getting killed so fucked it of, not opened the box in around a year. A shame as its a really atmospheric game.

Sometimes running into the light and dodging is a better bet. Only bits I realky got stuck in were "poltergeists" and the bit just before "well lit room". Dig it out, very satisfying game to finish.

Yeah it is a very good game, great modelling and voice acting. Creepy as fuck too.

It's good, I enjoyed it but the combat is too samey and the plot is pretty clichéd. Good but not great.

If your looking for Xbox games The Gears of War triolgy is fantastic few games and the first and second are around £10 on Amazon and the 3rd is around £15.

Quite. So disappointing, as it could have been a truly great game. The gameplay is just horrible.

While this game isn't really my cup of tea, I know a fair few people really like it.
