Oh, and can I say how fucking incompetent lee mason (ref) was again? That 2nd half corner he gave us (which wasnt) then giving QPR a cheap foul when he knew he'd fucked up summed him up. Fucking mong.

1. Adam - he actually runs faster with the ball at his feet, doesn't he. Thought that was a good midfield display, nice passing, plenty of aggression and some mazy runs.

2. Suarez - just wish his decision-making was a little better. His touch (both trapping and one-touch-passing) lets him down from time to time too. Other than that he's up there with the very, very best.

3. Enrique - he'll make my top 3 throughout the season barring some inspirational displays from the other players. What a fantastic left-back he is! I'd say he's the best pound for pound signing we've made since Hyypiä, and if we can achieve success and keep him here he might just turn out even better:wow:

 

Edit: Skrtel and Agger did well again too, and Maxi showed why he should be a regular now. Downing finally showed some form again. All in all a positive display. I fear for our central midfield with Henderson in it against quality opposition though. Hopefully Adam can keep fit so he and Jay may sort us out til Gerrard is back. Villa and Wigan away we should be able to cope with today's line-up...

Agree on the top 3 and the homer of an official. I genuinely can't remember a time i've sat back after a match and thought "Ref did alright today". Its unbelievable

I would have picked Maxi but these three edged him out just. Honourable mentions for Agger and Kuyt for working tirelessly and Kuyt's pass to Maxi in the first half should have been a goal. Agger coming forward takes me back to his early days and so it's nice to see him bringing the ball forward. We ground out the win, but I'll take it.
